The actual walls of the castle don't exist anymore and all that is left is a large mound and lots of big boulders.

No signage or interpretation. Some piles of stones and a wall that suggests something may have been here.Otherwise just a woodland walk and a trig point

Fantastic national historical monument from the 18th century. Just because it doesn't look like the Disney castle you were imagining doesn't mean it's not amazing.If you love archaeology then go have a look.Treat the area well, don't walk all over everything.
