Pathetic name for a school in BETHNAL GREEN not Shoreditch! This is what happens when you have a school being led in a corporate manner. Completely neglects local community identity.

With all the awards the school boasts about and has on display on their webpage, they did not even have the decency to acknowledge or reply to my e-mail.Shame on you!

I hate this school because most of the teachers are so rude and disrespect you, they treat you like an animals, boss you around all the time, they are very strict as well.

Went to this school back in 2006-2010. I didn't speak English so they always put me in the class with 'special needs people' half of them were just lazy and half were just bullies. The only disabled person I've known at the time who was also my friend left the school because his parents were worried about his safety, he was pushed down the stairs, he wore a back correction thing and other students would put things inside of it and he couldn't remove them until he got home, he didn't speak English either.Different year groups were placed in seperate sections during lunch time, if you were in year 7 and your friend in a different year you wouldn't be allowed to meet, me and my friends were always running away after the bell up the stairs to where the new art classes are and chill there in peace, away from bullies.Another thing about lunch area is that they keep you all there like caddle and you're not allowed to leave until the lunch is over. If you wanted to go to the library you only could've done that in certain days because it was just two different years at the time so e.g. year 7 and 11, 8 and 10.When I was there there were three security guards which I known about, Mr. Hart who had a red face like he was about to collapse but the most disrespectful guy there. Mr. Richards was nice overall. I think the last guy was Mr. Saidi although I can't remember his name well, He would always stand in front of the entrance to the school checking if students had their shirts in their pants and if they are all wearing black.I would not recommend this school, it breeds terrorists (Shamima Begum), criminals (few of my bullies were already in prison a couple of times) and religion discrimination (I was studing compulsory religion in year 7 to 9 which was mainly about Muslims). If you want your kid a first class prison experience with a chance of getting stabbed (happened once to a student after class when I was still studing there) then by all means, the outstanding whatever the new name is school will provide just that.

Wonder how much many they have spent on the constant renaming. First it was Bethnal Green High School, then BGTC, then Bethnal Green Academy, then Green Spring academy and now Mulberry Academy Shoreditch (in Bethnal Green)

I joined the school in 2014 until now just thinking about it, probably the best school I've been to, the school completely changed my life around through social skills and my learning aiming to achieve higher. I stayed on at the sixth form which was incredibly helpful pushing towards wanting to go university. At the end of my 2 year period at the sixth form, I gained a place at university and show all my appreciation towards the school and their fantastic teaching and staff. Overall Bethnal Green Academy changed my life for the better and I hope others experience the success I gained. Thank you.But the only thing I would say is that the new name of the school Green Spring Academy Shoreditch, sounds really silly as the school isn't in Shoreditch and the name sounds like a primary school, so I would wish they would reconsider changing the name

I go to this school and I can safely say it is rubbish, they put on an act and show them selfs to be a prestigious school but in fact they are no different from how they were a few years ago when it was in special measures,to be honest it still is,and now it's know to be outstanding this shallow school and its arrogant headmaster put the word outstanding around to make them selfs feel good about a lie.if possible I would give them -stars.
