Neuro Drop In Centre

this is a fantastic place for anyone with a neurological condition (MS, ME, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, CFS etc) .they have really tasty home cooked food made by a really nice bunch of ladies (and sometimes men) and always have the tastiest soup!they have classes for yoga (even seated) , mindfulness, art and crafts (have you ever met a knitter? they're knutters!) .a lot of groups come but they have separate rooms for when AgeUK come or special needs kids on a day out for lunch so you're not disturbed if you're after a sit and quiet chat.I love coming hear and eating the food and chatting with the knutters and sometimes take a class, the meditation one last time was great and the best thing is, all the classes are aimed at those with conditions like mine so they're not too taxing and everyone is very understanding and patient.hope to see you there!

I started coming 18 months ago and it has been somewhere I can go and feel I can be myself. Nobody judges you. I Was made to feel welcome. I enjoy the relaxation and meditation class. I would recommend anyone go along to the neuro drop-in and be sure of a warm welcome

I have been a member fro the beginning have had lots of support and lots of fun. Enjoyed creative writing, art, keep fit and mny other activities . Even singing!!the food is great.. I have moved to Bamber Bridge I will so miss all the volunteers and members, its like losing a family. Love to all save my cuppa for when I get up for a visit.

This is the place to be for any age! There are so many classes ranging from keep fit to art classes. Every Tuesday the centre hold a circle of friends group for people with dementia. You can see how much the group love the day starting with having tea and coffee, having freshly made lunch from the menu and finishing their day with a dance class. Get down to take a class or to have some cake and relax!!!

This is an excellent charity however when events on charging people to enter Table top sales etc is not really, a donation bucket would be much better.Also £2 for a hot drink! It's not Costa guys! Your raising money for charity.

I think Neuro Drop In is fantastic. Its a place where there is lots going on. You can join in the groups and the quiz and meet your friends for a catch up everyone who works and helps out are friendly and easy to talk to and go above and beyond for the group

My Mum has been going to Neuro for the past 9 months after suffering from a stroke. The confidence she has gained and friendships she has made, have given her a new lease of life. She has gone from not wanting to leave the house, to looking forwards to her visits 3 times a week. Whilst there she loves her exercise, dance and art classes, not to mention catching up with her new friends over a hearty home cooked meal, soup a slice of cake and a cup of tea.Sharon and the staff are amazing, as are the lovely volunteers who always make mum feel so welcome and always have time to listen to me moan, if we've had a bad night or morning and check that we are both ok. An amazing place!

What a place. This is a safe place, a place where your disability doesn't define you. Its a place where you can be yourself with a great cafe, wonderful people and a great range of activities .

I've been attending Neuro Dropin for over 4 years now after I was told about it by a family member and been attending classes twice a week since , l look forward to it every week all the volunteers and friends I've made everyone are so friendly, I don't think I would be where I am today if it wasn't for Neuro Dropin Sharon is a legion she works so hard with the rest of the staff and volunteers all for the members, all the fates, Christmas lunches and fundraising events they put on,.. a lot of my family members attend and love it, I would recommend everybody to attend Neuro Dropin and enjoy and support.
