A lovely way to keep little ones entertained for a couple of hours. Lots to see including meerkats, snakes and monkeys! Obviously very warm due to the climate needed for the animals so just bare in mind little ones outfit choices. Nice cafe at the end for hot and cold food and drinks and a lovely gift shop too where you can buy a small souvenir for £2.

Me and my family really enjoyed Tropical World. We went on Wednesday 7th June. It was lovely. The only thing is I had a panic attack with all the butterflies flying around. Apart from that I really enjoyed it.The Grandchildren had a lovely day they had a picnic on ya grounds.I am disabled and forgot my key to my scooter at home, and the staff so kindly lent me theirs. They even went all out and lent me the bigger one for me to go over to the park with the grandchildren.Great place

It's a great place to entertain the little ones, especially when the weather is not so good. As well as seeing all the animals, there is a lovely cafe, and of course Roundhey Park itself. We got to watch a snake shedding its skin!

Went for an early birthday day out with my husband and my 1 year old who loves fishes and animals. so she was very intrigued by all the tanks and the animals. Lots of things to explore. Plus different terrain for her to practice her walking on. It's really good for all ages, school trips and learning about new things and animals.

Lovely place. Quite cheap to get in, 3 adults, 1 child over 5, and 1 child under was £28. I walked around feeling this was a good day. Animals were well displayed, lots of them. My pucky grandson said, This is better than I thought it would be." High praise indeed. Then we decided to eat in their cafe! It's expensive £28 entrance fee and £33 for 2 coffee

Tropical World
Very reasonably priced . Plenty to see walk around with butterflies and big moths flying around you. Wind your way through the different categories, doesn't take that long to go round about an hour or so. Very hot and clammy so nice to come out into cool air. Many animals, fish, and insects to see. There's 2 places to get refreshments and the gardens outside are lovely to walk around as well.

Tropical world is a good visit. Some aspects are a little run down and dated, and some areas are closed while they remodel currently, but it's still a fun place.Staff are friendly and helpful.Clean bathrooms.Good gift shop.Plenty of informative signs and interesting animals everywhere.Fun to visit every few years.

Lovely place, lots or cute animals, most of them are tiny.Beware tho it is ridiculously hot inside, it felt like I was in an amazonian jungle or something similar to that. If you can't stand such a hot & damp place due to medical conditions I would really consider if it is worth a visit.

Arrived by car which is probably not the best way to get here as there is no car park. Parking nearby is atrocious as it's either on street or a car park for another attraction.Entry is £8 for adults & £4 for kids over 5years, its Far too expensive for the size of the place. 4 of us completed it in around 30 minutes. You can use your receipt & go around as much as you want on the day of purchase however the place is so small & cramped its kinda disappointing. Lots of empty tanks with just plants in or signs which say coming soon"Cafe was over priced too
