Really lovely evening here. Ambience is perfect, lighting just right, Decor inviting. Food menu is all fish but actually difficult to decide what to have. The fish and chips was huge and really fresh and delicious. The seabass was also a good portion and was absolutely delicious. Cocktail to start also excellent! Really good relaxed night out.

Perfect place for seafood lovers! I highly Recommend the Large fresh Oysters (plain) and the Chimichurri for the grilled, prawns, the dressed crab, and the whole cracked crab (which was very meaty!! And fresh)The calamari was a little bit of a let down as needed some more taste… wanted some more of the chicory salad and tender-stem broccoliBut everything was cooked perfectlyAnd the atmosphere was very rustic and cozyWe had an issue with one of the dishes but they immediately resolved it, handled it well and took it off the bill.Will come back

Visiting from Portland, Maine where the seafood is top notch - Whitstable Oyster Co stood up to that high bar really well. This place is fantastic. The dinner was truly excellent. Had oysters at the bar next door while waiting. Then Skate, Cod, Sea Bass, and Haddock for mains. And scallops and cider mussels for starters. Highly recommend!!!

Exquisite. All food cooked to perfection. One star docked for lack of vegetarian options for one member of our party - would be good to have something for a main even if it's pre-order to help the kitchen out. So many veges in the world, would be a shame for them to miss out!All the dishes I had were delicious. A must visit if you're ever in Whitstable.

Finally a 5 stars restaurant in my opinion. I m very picky with food and places but this was surprisingly good. Despite we don’t like the city, this restaurant was a refugee for us.Amazing and friendly service, nice decor according to the coast decor, and really tasty food. The oysters were divine. And really good price, especially if you compare to London.

My sister and I visited the restaurant last Saturday and had an incredible time together. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious, complemented by the stunning sea views. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!

Food is so fresh and tasty. Staff are lovely, attentive, and somehow willing to accommodate my mum's many requests without an issue!Beautiful view as well and drinks are great (especially the wine list).Highly recommended.

Love this place - for both the oys and the food in general. After visiting several times on visits to Whitstable, I feel compelled to write a review in recommendation of this historic establishment. Make a reservation and attend to experience the freshest seafood in a beautifully appointed seaside restaurant. A wonderful experience, every time. As a fan of butters, I have to give a nod to their house butter as well. I always wind up taking the extras home. Also, shout out to the local craft beer available here.

Really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and made good suggestions. You have to try the wild oysters! It was fantastic.
