Haircuts are as good as anything else on the high street and the fact that they've offered me the option of coming back in a few weeks for a tidy up on them a couple of times was a lovely gesture too.Paul, the owner, couldn't be any nicer to my kids and they love him. It's not surprising how many teenagers come in there who from their conversations, have been going there since they were toddlers. That says it all when you can keep hold of your customers for so long, especially when I was always flitting between Zoology for Men and The Wanstead Barber Shop for the first 12 years of living in Wanstead.It's not hip or swanky like the other barbers down the road but their genuine and friendly manner with their customers and the fact that almost every time we go in, it's like having a front row seat to great sitcom is why I'll now never go anywhere else again.

I'm 35 and been going to this barber for 30 years, in that time only 3/4 other people have cut my hair! My dad goes too. Always good conversation to be had, there are always lots of people bringing their kids as the guys are really good with them.

They massed up my hair and didn’t listen to anything I sed I sed a bit of the side and back and not to touch the top now I don’t have any hair on the side and on the top it doesn’t get passed my forehead

I have been a customer of Paul and Ian for over 10 years now. They are true local gents, lovely guys. Also very good with my son.

They can’t listen to a word I sed and it looks Terrible I asked for abit of the side there’s no side left and none of the top now I can’t even get it past my forehead

A really good, well priced local barbers just off Wanstead High Street. I’ve been going in here for years. Our kids get their hair cut here too.

Took my 2.5yr old for his haircut & was very happy with the experience & outcome. They were friendly, welcoming & the buses going past were a big hit. My husband also goes here & is a little gem of a find.
