We came from the US to visit the UK and we saw this hotel and decided to stay in it. This hotel is just magnificent. It feels like a relaxed amusement park to spend time with family and friends. From the rooms to the location to the food and drinks! The rooms are so clean and look very luxurious. We are really glad we stayed here and looking forward to visiting the next time we come to the UK ❤️

Came for food and drinks with family at the Antler restaurant. Everything was great. Lovely decor, okay vibe and waiters and waitresses were all very attentive. The only things I would comment on is there was a live singer which was lovely however we were sat right next to them and the music was so loud we sort of had to shout to be able to talk to each other and I’m not a naturally loud person and struggle to speak up so it wasn’t a great location to have a catch up. Loved the music and would happily listen to it any other time but it disrupted being able to have a nice flowing conversation at the table. I also wasn’t sure about the table set up for meals as half of the room was a few tables for meals and half of the room was more like a lounge area which felt a bit odd whilst eating food as we weren’t in a full restaurant setting. The food was lovely and the portions were more than enough so can’t complain about that! I’d certainly return here, the views from the location are also stunning during the day and at night. I’d certainly recommend. Can’t comment on accommodation due to only coming for food for the evening.

Ah man where do I start..2 nights booked at a cost of over £600. Arrived on the Friday in prep for a wedding the next day. Attitude of reception was lacking, on arrival we found to be dismissive .... Went for a bar meal initially food was ok but tables not cleaned in the two hours we were there. Very expensive, poorly organised (45 min to get served). Entering our room found a number of electric fan heaters because no central heating working. Mentioned this to reception only to be told they didn't know why but will look into it. (Didn't know about it but there were numerous heaters in there ........ah yeah ok !!) Never got heating working until about an hour before we left two days later, leaving with sore throats because of heaters on wasn't nice. The swimming pool really should be called a plunge pool, loads of local kids in there (not residents) and to say the water was filthy is not exaggerating! Quite disgusting. Never used it a second time.. Wedding day staff really were like headless chickens, I asked 4 or 5 members a simple question what time is the meal due to start ?" Not one knew the answer! Sadly the groom and bride had wedding gifts stolen but again the hotel were not interested in trying to help or empathize at all with the bride or groom which I found to be totally shocking..All said and done no sorry

Had a fantastic stay for my partners birthday and had a lovely surprise card with chocolates. The room was lovely and had an amazing view, we looked out over the fields to watch the deer.Much nicer than another local hotel we recently stayed at...Staff were great and had one of the best passion fruit martinis in the bar.We did the BBE and had a fantastic stay

The hotel is great. The food was excellent. Staff, in general, were brilliant. However, the spa is run down and needs a full refurbishment. Pool is tiny, and when there's 5 or more guests, there's no space to swim. Mens changing room was untidy and dirty with only 3 working lockers.Either hot tub, pool, or sauna wasn't working on the nights we tried to use them.Seriously, bad night due to thumping music from a party directly above our room. No thoughts for the guests below. These rooms should only be let for those attending the party, not for those who want a relaxing spa break. Terrible service from the night manager who, when we complained, said the client had paid a lot of money! To sum up..Great hotel. Awful spa. Make sure you are not in a room below any potential event with loud music.

We loved our stay and would highly recommend. The beds were the most comfortable I have experienced. The room was clean and luxurious we stayed in a premier double with a huge bed, fluffy robes and slippers, wine and a coffee pod machine. The breakfast was delicious and comprehensive. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had dinner at the Prego. It was delicious and exceptional value for the quality. The surrounding area is beautiful and it was a quiet and relaxing stay.

We were put in a cottage but we booked the hotel. Cold rooms large gap under door, radiators only luke warm. Rooms in need of update. Tv not working. Shower leaking, bathroom radiator not working. Staff were great and tried their best, hotel not up to standard.
