Used previously as the timber was cheap and free delivery was an incentive, didn't get a call before delivery as it was an agency driver on delivery day, I found the staff (female) helpful.I have been back several times since, first time for sleepers, sadly only one in stock, I wanted two but with it being a popular size very low stock levels, 4 days for it to come back into stock, which I think is a bit poor for a sawmill. Second time was today 5/08/17 at 10:45 ish only to be told they are now closed for the day, website says​ open until noon.Off I went to Jackson's in Sutton and got what I needed for a little cheaper..

I called in last week for some plywood for my bathroom floor. I am just a DIY'er, not a professional.They could not have been any more helpful if they tried, cut the timber for me, helped me out to the car with it for a fantastic price.They were busy at the time but never made me feel awkward at all.

I called in today to buy some hardwood. The staff were extremely UNHELPFUL. With the attitude they all had, I'm surprised they sell any timber at all. I have been it the building trade for 40 years so I'm used to buying from timber yards. I definitely won't be going back, very disappointed because I could see timber that I wanted to buy.

Just had decking delivered, nothing too much trouble for the driver. Delivered on time, quality excellent. Thanks Adi and the team

Efficient friendly service

I would never consider using this place again. We arrived late on in the morning due to our own work commitments and were basically refused service.The owner repeatedly told us, 'We close at 12,' and that he was very strict on that policy. Every time we tried to move towards actually getting the timber we needed, the same lines. Honestly, just in case you aren't sure when they close, he will tell you.. a lot.. it's 12 by the way.I don't mind that they closed at 12 (in case you forgot already), I even apologised for being that late on. Perhaps I should of apologised for being an inconvenience and a potential customer.The real reason for this bad review is the owner's attitude, he was just rude, we were clearly a problem so after our patience reached it's limit we eventually just said forget it and left.We also run a small business and the fact is that if we treated our customers with the same disregard and disrespect, we wouldn't expect to have any customers at all.Absolutely disgusting attitude from a man who should revisit his customer service policies.

Great service and delivery. Very impressed and will definitely be my regular timber supplier. Good prices, free delivery and even give you a call before hand. What more could you ask for.
