Candyland Sweets Oxford American candy

I went to this shop today and it is so bright and looks so nice. The prices are actually cheaper than the other candy shops around.The lady who served me was lovely. She showed me a section where everything was only £1. I loved the sweets, drinks and lolipops. They have a lot of variety. I would definitely buy from here again.

We noticed when we got home that everything we bought was out of date by months and they still charged full price for them.There was nothing to say on the boxes or anything that they were out of date.I will never visit this shop again.Warning to those that do..... Check the dates before buying.

Bossman is always proper sound to me and my mates and offers the best prices (eg Jolly Ranchers for 20quid - a proper bargain imo )

Went in here as we were walking past - they have a really good selection of stuff but it’s so expensive. The big bags of Cheetos were £7.99, seems extortionate to me as I can buy these in my local Mk corner shop for about £1.50

Out of date food is still sold at full price and left on the selves with all the other products.Can't find expiry dates on a lot of products and when asking the shop assistant about it they just said its in date, I asked can you show me the date on it, as I couldn't see and they just walked off. I checked the rest of the shop and a lot of stuff is out of date. I mean who wants to pay £9.99 for a bag of crisps that was out of date in March? No care is taken and clearly they feel its OK to sell out of date foods and most of the expiry dates are not understandable. It's very over priced too. Also just noticed that sweets are separated and sold separately when it states not labeled for individual sale!!

£7 for a standard coke and Gatorade…I’ll take my money elsewhere to get diabetes

While it can be a little pricey, the staff is lovely and there are a wide range of interesting options. I try to go here every other week or so to grab some treats for me and my family. I would reccomend (and have done so before). I've been to the others around it and this one is by far the best.

It's bright and colourful, but the prices are extortionate!

Because oxford does not need even one of these naff overpriced stores let alone 3 of them.Update: being cheaper than 2 others that are even more expensive does stop this one being over priced and pointless. The products I have seen are about 50-40% cheaper elsewhere in both shops and online. Its just another souless shop that is destroying the once interesting centre of Oxford.
