Visited on a sunny but very blustery February day and even though there was not a rose in sight it was a beautiful memorial. Can't wait to visit again in summer. Well worth a visit no matter the season or weather.

Lovely to walk around rose garden and memorial. noted one of the art sculptors had a pieces of metal stick up from ground not safe for young children especially toddlers. But a very lovely park.

A bleak reminder of the importance of safety in oil and gas industry. Memorial for Piper Alpha oil platform disaster in 1988. It is very sad to see the lost of 167 men, many of them are relatives. I was a bit of emotional when visiting this memorial.

Piper Alpha Memorial Garden
A fine monument to a terrible local tragedy. As it contains seasonal flowers it can look a little minimal at certain times of the year but there are also statues to look at and it is still nice to walk around.

Piper Alpha Memorial Garden
As a part of Hazelhead park this is a lovely walk. Its getting late in the year so a lot of the rose blooms are gone but still enough showing. Piper alpha memorial statue well tended and a reminder of the dangers in life and work. A lovely park with a nice play area for children. It could be better if the maze was open but still a great way for children to burn of some energy.
