Sk Cars & Valeting

I purchased a vauxhall insignia estate on the 9/9/23 from sk car sales for £1795 to use for work. I drove home (1 mile ) with the car and a warning light come on and it went into limp mode. I required the car to drive to Stafford and back weekly and commuting to work daily. When I took it back they told me it would be fine to drive to Stafford an back on a motorway (only doesabout 25 mph in limp mode. Anyway I wasn't happy so I left the car with them on the 10/9/23 to be repaired. I've now taken out an insurance policy and taxed it and put £20 diesel in it but can't use it. Called him on Friday the 14/9/23 to enquire was the car ready for collection and was told it couldn't be repaired but that was it only being looked at after sitting there for a week. Just as well I kept my original car I could have sold 10 times over the previous weekend. So I've called in this morning to arrange getting my refund (9.30am) and got told he's away out on his bike so it might not be done till teatime which is of no use to me as I'm viewing a car I require for work at 12 o'clock. Anyway my refund has just gone in at 11.30am which I suppose is better than this evening, but no compensation for the insurance policy, tax ,and fuel I put in the vehicle and I've had to cancel them now and pay an administration fee. I wouldn't normally leave feedback but I think people should be aware what sort of vehicles they're selling and the customer service is pi*s poor.I think this review is more than fair based on my experience.In a way I'm lucky it happened immediately as a few weeks later I could have ended up with a car worth scrap and £2000 out of pocket.

I recently purchased a car from sk and found the seller Martin to be honest and friendly.I found only one little fault which was the reverse light not working.I googled it because of its location and it said that it was a bit of a pain to get to, however,if you have small hands it is easier than you think.I solved the problem and everything is fine.Got a really good deal with these guys.
