Excellent vets and staff. We have been clients of Kingfishers over 20 years!

Both my dogs when they were still here, and now my cats have been looked after by Kingfisher and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The vets, and nurses, helped me deal with a sick animal whilst going through an immensely difficult time at home and essentially treated all of us with kindness, compassion and dignity. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Today we had to say goodbye to my gorgeous Labrador who gave us over 13 years of love and happiness and Kingfisher vets went above and beyond to ensure he had the most peaceful passing. They gave us a same-day appointment and came to our house which saved Marley the stress of a visit to the vets.I didn’t catch the names of the vet and her assistant as I was quite upset but they were both so lovely, caring and understanding. They explained everything they were doing and let us make all the decisions about how we’d proceed. I couldn’t have asked for more compassionate people to have supporting us in a difficult time and Marley loved them too, thanks to all the cuddles they gave him!I’ve always had exceptional service from Kingfisher but this really was worth an extra mention. Thank you so, so much.

Best Veterinary Practice around this area.Also on my visit this time we had a locum vet and I've got to say he was fantastic one of the best we've ever used totally understood Mylo. He changed Mylo medication knowing we've got a new granddaughter really happy with what he advised.Highly recommended.

First time at this lovely practice today with my kittens.Such a friendly helpful team. I didn’t feel rushed with my questions whatsoever. The vet nurse Jo was amazing, I literally thought she was the vet to begin with because of her knowledge and expertise. She was so thoughtful and thorough!. Thank you.. highly recommended.

Booster vaccinations but given plenty of time to discuss any concerns and painless financially, on the day, as we subscribe to the pet health plan. Jenny really put our dog at ease and she (the dog not Jenny) wagged her tail throughout

I have only been registered with this Vet for the last 5 months but unfortunately in that time, I have had to take my cat quite a few times due to health and dental issues she had previous registering with them. I have seen approx 5 different Vets between the Chard and the Crewkerne branch and they have all come across as knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. They have also shown care in making decisions based on my cat's health but on my best financial interests too. They were absolutely brilliant when my cat had to undergo surgery 3 weeks ago at the Crewkerne branch. It is usually very busy when I have attended, and that has meant that I am usually seen a bit later than the appointment time but I never felt rushed when I finally saw the Vet and had plenty of time to ask any questions. I can only give one small bit of constructive feedback around the premises' waiting area. The separation between cats and dogs is not as effective as it could be and considering waiting times can be longer than expected it can be a bit stressful for both pets and owners to be waiting in close proximity. I understand the possibilities to change the layout depend on many other factors and to be honest, it's a small price" to pay for a good quality service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
