The Bryncoch Inn
A Saturday afternoon with not a full restaurant. We were welcomed to most tables with dirty plates on. Our table which was reserved was stinking. It had sticky ice-cream all over it and mashed in chips on the seats. The menus have not been cleaned in weeks, they were covered in sticky stuff and even hair and food stuck to them. The whole place was absolutely disgusting. The toilets welcomed you with the smell of urine and it was also all over the toilet seats and floor. The food was also disappointing although it was cheap. The bar ran out of napkins so was placing folded blue roll on the tables. The whole place needs shutting down for a few days and a deep clean needed urgently. It is very run down. Management really need to get a grip on standardsBefore someone is ill from this place. I will never return.

My daughter and I called in for a drink the other evening. Nice atmosphere enjoyed a glass of wine. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat. Although the food looked nice. Its my daughter and her partner's local, so it must be good. Will call in again

Great value on food, less so for drinks and a rosé wine cocktail looked as if it had a handful of frozen raspberries added, nothing like the advertised item.

The angry little blonde haired man behind the bar destroyed what little hope I had I left in The Bryncoch Inn.I’ve frequented the Bryn many times over the years due to it being my local pub. However, it’s never been my go to place, due to the slow service, lack of cleanliness, and neglected decor.Nevertheless, a family event led to me visiting the inn again…for what will now be the very last time.Although the bar wasn’t busy at the time, I ordered 4 drinks via the online service. However, after waiting for 25 minutes and seeing people receive their drinks after waiting for less time than me, I realised that we had been forgotten about. My wife approached the bar, and after waiting a further 15 minutes to be served, she had to reorder our drinks from the barman.I then approached the bar myself to help her carry the drinks, and whilst we conversed over the fact that we had waited 40 minutes for our drinks, we were rudely and abruptly interrupted by a very angry little man with blonde hair and a moustache, “You don’t get priority by ordering via the app”, he said. After informing him that I didn’t expect to receive priority treatment, but expected my drinks to not take 40 minutes to be served, he became argumentative and began repeating himself, “You don’t get priority treatment. It’s been busy”. I told him that the bar wasn’t actually busy when I placed my order, in which he replied, “It was, I’ve been here”. Following that, he replied, “It was. It was. It was”, to every thing I said in my defence. The whole situation was quite embarrassing - so much so that his colleague apologised on his behalf.Waiting 40 minutes for a drink aside, this is not how you treat paying customers.I hope this staff members conduct is addressed and he’s retrained in customer service.

The bryn has always been an amazing place but since the new land lady took over its awful. Such a shame. We went there as a last resort as its within walking distance. There is only ever one person at the bar and the young girl thats there too is very lazy and walks away from the bar instead of serving. So many people used to go there now its sad the place is being run down. You need fresh faces in there and get rid of all the lazy staff currently working there.

I must say I could not fault the staff. We were a group of 17 people and they all couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was too much trouble. Considering we were a large group all our starters and main courses came out all the same time and each course was hot! Highly recommend and thank you very much x

We had our wedding party here the past weekend just gone. Natalie and the team was absolutely amazing, so very kind and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble, the decor was absolutely beautiful and it looked amazing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller party function to get in touch with Natalie, when emailing my ideas nothing was to much trouble and she welcomed anything I said on board! The team really made it the perfect day for us - thank you so much!! From Megan & Darryl ❤️
