As a family we could not be more pleased with the service that Pete provided for dad’s send off.On meeting Pete for the first time, we were put at ease and found it easy to chat about dad and days gone by. Pete dealt with us in a kind and caring manner, he was professional and meticulous in all aspects of his work. Pete gently guided us through the process, gave suggestions where needed and came up with a service that we were happy with, one that was a celebration of life.On the day of the funeral, Pete delivered the service beautifully and it felt as though he’d known dad for years. Dad’s own brother even asked if he knew dad as he’d captured him so well. So many people said it was a lovely service and summed dad up perfectly.We can not recommend Pete more highly. My late wife's Order of service.What can I say about Peter Billingham. First of all, a very kind and very special.When Peter introduced himself a few weeks ago, I knew we were going to put a piece together. His whole approach in the beginning when he asked for a picture of my late wife set the seen. It was very difficult for talking about our yester years, but I set little bullets for each timeline. Peter was in awe with our life history and all the events.When Peter sent me the draft of our lives together, it was like he said, we were not even scratching the surface because their was so to say over those 38 years of being together and married for 35 years.When it came to the day of the service, Peter read out our life as if it was one of his own. He was so meaningful and loving with that soft voice of his. It was like a bedtime story, making me and hopefully the rest of the congregation feel so at peace. But there was moments Peter had to be upbeat because of some of comical moments in our lives.At the end of the service, I felt he knew what a special and unique couple we were when he said the goodbyes to my very wife.I can honestly say hand on heart, Peter Billingham meant everything he said was from the heart.I have no doubts about recommending Peter for your Order of service.One of the most kind hearted persons I have ever met.This review is from Steven Osborne the husband of my late wife Deborah Ann Osborne.

Peter was requested by my late father in law to be his celebrant at his funeral. Peter was also the celebrant chosen for my late mother in laws funeral. My father in laws service was absolutely beautiful. The compassion dignity and respect from my father in laws eulogy could be felt by each and every one of us as Peter was reading it. Peter was very understanding and worked with my husband and my self nothing was too much trouble. After the service everyone commented how beautiful popps service was. How it was conducted also how it was about his life that was so important to us. Without doubt I certainly would recommend Peter losing a loved one is devastating. Peter conducted the service for my dad’s funeral. He took time to visit to find out about my dad and understand what he was like. He was then able to write a very fitting eulogy which was absolutely my dad. He brought humour to it too which I know my dad would have appreciated. Friends and relatives said what a lovely service it was and how excellent Pete was and how it sounded like he knew dad. He recommended possible readings and prayers which was very helpful too. As dad always wore a cap or hat, Pete suggested putting a hat on dad’s coffin which we did and he made reference to it in the eulogy which was a lovely touch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter. Thank you very much for making a difficult day much easier and a fitting tribute to my dad's life.

Pete had the incredible ability to capture the essence of my late Dad's real character through carefully constructed questions and an informal. friendly, face to face chat over a cup of tea. He delivered his carefully crafted eulogy with the warmth of a life long friend. We felt Pete knew and respected my Dad, without ever having met him. I saw Peter at a funeral I attended a few years ago. I presumed from the way he was talking that he was a close friend of the deceased as he spoke so fondly of them and as though he had known them for years. But no, I found out following the service that he was a celebrant - something I'd actually never heard of before.I knew from that moment that if I ever lost a loved one that he would definitely be the person whom I would want to give them their Eulogy - that's the sort of lasting impression he left with me.Peter is caring, kind and shows so much compassion. He visited me at home following my mother's death and sat with me and my family for just over two hours talking and taking notes about my mum and her life.He then put her eulogy together as a draft before sending it to me to make any amendments I thought were relevant- but to be honest he had my mum 'spot on'.At her funeral so many people commented on what a fabulous eulogy he had given and that made my day, as I knew I'd done the right thing with asking Peter.A fabulous man who has a brilliant talent of getting it 'right'.

I met Peter, week before Moms funeral, instantly I knew he would be perfect for this very special occasion…we chatted over a cup of tea and looked thru many family photos…He made me feel exceptionally comfortable and it was therefore so easy to talk about the Mom I so love and cherish…Peter emailed me a couple of days later with his draft outlay of the Service, don’t believe we changed anything apart from me adding a couple of additional pieces of gathered information…Moms service was absolutely beautiful, I was personally congratulated by so many members of our family in how his words, fully captured Our Mom and by so many of her friends.I genuinely cannot recommend Peter highly enough, the last thing I could physically do for Mom Was perfect…It’s my privilege to highly recommend you Peter..

What can I say about Peter, other than first class, warm, caring, compassionate and a master of a dying craft. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his work to anyone.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Peter to officiate at a funeral. Pete carried out the Eulogy for my late husband at the Redditch Crematorium in September. The service could not have gone better and everyone who came walked away with more knowledge of my husband and the love we had for each other.
