Katie Sweep

We booked Katie Sweep to sweep the flue of our oil burning Central heating stove. They use a great system which sends text updates as well as emails.Very responsive when we had to speak to them to adjust the time (due to a commitment on our side) and very easy to contact them by text. All updates were confirmed with a follow up email.When our sweep was on her way we got a tracker to see where she was.The sweep (Jade) arrived a little early and after checking that that was OK set up quickly and cleanly. The whole experience was pleasant and professional and incredibly clean - sweep didn't mind an interested audience (why do men find these things so fascinating?).We will definitely use them again and will be very happy to meet Jade again or have confidence in whoever they send. A five star experience.

Used for the first time today and I was very impressed. Easy to book, kept us up to date with arrival times etc. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would and left everything very clean. I was sent photos and a certificate with the receipt. Couldn't really ask for any more

This is the first time our chimney has been swept since we had the stove installed last year. Katie Sweep arrived well before time and was professional and well organised, bringing some pretty impressive kit to the job. The work was completed within the hour, no mess, no fuss. I was surprised at the amount of soot that was brought down especially since we had a flue liner fitted so no old residue from when it was an open coal fire. Will be using this company again and highly recommend this business to anyone wanting the services of a sweep.

Jade came to clean my chimney which had never been done by the previous owners! It was a task and a half but she got it done. Unfortunately my chimney needed some pointing doing, but I was happy it was cleaned properly and I knew it wasn't safe, and where to go from there. From calling Sarah in the office, to Jade leaving my house the service was great. Fair pricing also. Cheers guys

Vicky was courteous and very professional, she did a thorough cleaning job on our wood burner. The burner needed a proper overhaul and we were aware that some parts were damaged by the previous owner of our home, Vicky advised that we could save a little bit of money by buying the parts required off the internet and then arrange for her to come back and fit them, we decided that it would be safer for her to get the parts and fit them for us, she explained everything clearly. I recommend this Company, if Vicky’s professionalism is anything to go by, they are an honest Company who value their customers. Thank You.Update 27/9/23Tom, Katie’s husband came to finish the job for us, he brought all the parts that were required. He has made a massive difference to our fire, we’ve lit it first time today, 30/9, what a difference, the heat it’s throwing out is brilliant.
