Absolutely beautiful place for a wedding. Amazing lawn and barn area. I didn't stay in the rooms but briefly saw them so can't really review but it's all in align with the refurbished modern cottage theme.Pint of lime and soda and a bottle of cider was near £12! They were charging around £6 for a pint of soft drink!

Superbly maintained and managed, this converted farm with its house and outbuildings is a wonderful venue for a family wedding. The accommodation is simple, but beds and fixtures and fittings are very high quality and spotless. The lakeside wedding gazebo was charming and all the various venues for eating, socializing and dancing were excellent. I was impressed by the excellent organization by Tash and her team which was effective but never intrusive. I think bar prices were a little on the high side and access to the venue along some of the narrow Cornish lanes was challenging if one has a larger vehicle. Overall, highly recommended.

Cannot fault a thing with this venue! Staff are sooo on point! They make you feel so at home and relaxed. They made my wedding amazing! Would definitely recommend! Worth every penny!

Recently attended a family wedding here. Didn't stay in the accommodation but my sister did who said it was good and the cottages looked lovely. Views are amazing and facilities spot on. Careful on approach as its a single track road and sign / turning is easily missed.

Our sons wedding held here on 18th September. What a wonderful 3 days we had. All the staff were so caring & attentive. The food was amazing. The Preen on the Green salon was so well arranged. Cottages all well set out & accessible. Beautiful site for children to run free. Thank you everyone for making our son & daughter in laws wedding so relaxed and everything they hoped for

Great venue and great staff. Highly recommend. Just be aware if you're planning on having a band there is a sound limiter which cuts the power should they pass the volume limit Which to be honest isn't loud enough. The bands power was cut several times during the evening. But genuinely a fantastic venue.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly and a stress-free wedding day then The Green is the one! We couldn't fault how friendly, warm, welcoming and efficient everyone, from planning all the way to the big day! We had Monika as our wedding co-ordinator and she was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating! We had nothing to think about but to enjoy our day because of her. A massive thank you to the entire team of The Green. You are all amazing!

We got married on the 31.10.23 and wow what an amazing few days! We would firstly like to thank Monica, she went above and beyond with whatever we needed and was always there to help us! Also the bar staff were absolutely amazing! The rooms were stunning and clean, the food was amazing we had the bbq for the first night which was lovely and all of our guests praised the food we had from then on. The chefs carved our pumpkins for us which was stunning! We left feeling so happy and we would 10000% recommend The Green to everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Beautiful venue, and the staff were all super helpful and kind. The rooms were decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Only thing that could have been improved was the cleanliness in the showers. There was some mould or dirt around the shower but otherwise the room was clean.

The green is top notch venue. Stunning scenery, clean, great rooms and amazing food.The staff are amazing. Sophie in particular was very organised and efficient, very friendly and made us feel at ease and help us to understand what we were doing. Monika was also very good at her Job. Also a shoutout to the admin team - Fiona in particular, very knowledgeable and supportive through the whole planning process. The taster day that they provide before your wedding is amazing, we really enjoyed it.Look no further than the green, it’s literally the best.The negatives - not that they were bad, there’s always room for improvement!Upon arriving into room 6 (which we used as the bridal suite), there was green cleaning fluid dripping along inside the bath. There was also no hand soap, both issues I reported to Sophie and she sorted out straight away. The throw on the bed in room 6 had a snag in it. There was some odd marks on the wall by the bath too. There was also limescale in the kettle. The towel rail was also broken. Small negatives but could have been avoided with thorough checks before letting people into the property.The lighting in preen at the green is not good for a make up artist, mine was very unhappy about it. Room 6 is awful for lighting too.The cost of drinks is a little outrageous.Despite these things, it was an outstanding venue and everyone was impressed with it.
