FANTASTIC SERVICE. From start to finish the service that they give is first class. I do not believe the last review at all as we dealt with Irene Jessop and her caring & compassion towards us was second to none. Our mums funeral yesterday was absolutely beautiful and she had the best send off you could ever wish for. A Massive thank you to all the staff.

I had an amazing experience with Irene at what was such a difficult time. She is one of the kindest ladies I have ever met. We talked lots about my nanna and the type of person she was and the types of things she liked and how we could make the funeral something that my nanna would be proud of. I strongly recommend Irene as a funeral director and to contact her before any other funeral services. I promise that you won't be disappointed. I'm so glad that we chose Irene and I hope many more people have positive experiences with this wonderful lady.

Would definitely recommend this lovely lady and her caring staff. She has looked after all our family funerals and also our pet cremations. Definitely five star service.

Absolutely disgusting place, Irene done my dads funeral and was actually drunk at the service. She was constantly screaming at staff when it was suppose to be a place i could go see my loved one, seemed really toxic the environment and not a place i would ever recommend using, nasty nasty woman

Terrible fake lady, went to visit my Dad, only there was no one in the reception as I walked in . I was met by this woman I now know was irene Jessop shouting and swearing at someone clearly who worked with her. she was in the office obviously oblivious of my walking in. So sorry we chose this company. Terrible decision unfortunately. Save your loved one at the hands of this woman. Avoid avoid terrible communication too.

I can't thank Irene and her team enough. The level of care, compassion and dignity the team displayed made the worst day of my life bearable. Also all done at a very fair and transparant price, although i hope no one has to ever use Irene services, if they do find themselves in that unfortunate position then please conisder them.

We as Mikes family would like to say a massive thank you to Irene Jessop funeral care on Lanehouse Road Thornaby for the way they looked after my Mike for the gorgeous service cards absolutely amazing. Dignity and respect from start to finish. It was totally amazing from the time Mike was picked up untill his Funeral day and I thank each and everyone of you for taking care of us as his family and more importantly My Mike.I cant praise you all enough .would recommend your services 1 million % to anyone who has the misfortune of losing someone they Love because I doubt you will ever get better service anywhere else...Thank you Irene Jessop x

We contacted Irene Jessop Funeral Service when my mam passed. From start to finish we couldn't fault the service we received. Such a caring & supportive group of people. We never felt anything was a bother when we contacted them. They kept in touch with us along the way so that we were always kept up to date with what was happening. 10/10 5* service!!!
