Steve from HD5 Home Security attended my house today to install CCTV. I rang a few larger companies and they were more like robots and won’t really advising me, it was more about selling their product.When I rang HD5 Home Security, the service I received was second to none. Jo asked for pictures of my property and once checked, she emailed me a list of what I’d need to get the job done. All my questions about legislation were answered efficiently and their price was excellent for the service they offered.I was advised I’d need a two camera system in colour day and night.This afternoon Steve arrived and was very friendly as soon as he got out of the van. He took me around my property to inform me where the cameras would be placed for the best view possible front and in the back. The cameras look very smart. He installed the cameras and made sure all the cabling was very neat around my house, I can hardly see it. Then he came inside and without me asking, took his shoes off. He set up the hard drive and plugged it in and connected it to my hub. He set up the camera imaging onto my telly which surprised me and then set it up onto my phone. I was getting confused about recording images and checking what I’d recorded and in a patient manner, he went through all the functionality until I knew what I was doing. He then picked up all the bits of wire and took the rubbish away. Upon leaving he told me to ring if I forget something.Very professional chap with a polite manner. Excellent customer service from my initial enquiry to having my CCTV system installed.Steve and Findlay did a great job, even in the rain they carried on. No mess left and great attention to detail.Happy to set it up on both phone and laptop for me, and then a courtesy call from Jo after to ensure everything went smoothly.Great independent firm, would highly recommend them to anyone.5 star.

From the initial contact with Steve and completing the work at our home we couldn't have had better service. Steve and Jo were very helpful and explained everything clearly giving us their expert advice on our Alarm and cctv. Just had CCTV installed after a recent robbery. Jo listened to my concerns and sent Steve out quickly to get me a quote. My quote was very reasonable and Jo even moved Steve's schedule around to fit me in within a week. Steve answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Contacted HD5 Home Security to service my home security system. They were friendly, approachable and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I thought that my alarm may need to be replaced but Steve assured me that it was fine and only the back-up battery needed to be replaced (when many companies would have tried to upsell unnecessary repairs).I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending HD5 Home Security!

Used for installation of Hik Vision system on electric gates. Steve was really friendly and knowledgable on the options and really responsive in getting back to me on any questions I had. From me enquiring last week to fitting today amazing service. Jo knew exactly what I needed and arranged fitting. Today had it fitted and all I can say is wow!
