My uncle was in this care home it was the worst care home I've ever been to his bedroom had like a bathroom window which was opaque small room he went in with dementure and died of a bleed on brain he banged his head and nobody knew nothing they left him two days he got worse went to visit and they said they have called doctor and he was OK he died fay later in hospital on machines the staff changed all time and they are not experiance enough after my uncle died they gave manager the push we lost our loved one we do believe somebody knew what happend please don't put your loved ones in here they deserve to be looked after better

A relative of mine who had a learning disability was cared for at St Catherine's recently during his final illness. He had lived on his own for many years, but as soon as he moved to St Catherine's, he called it his home. The care he received was second to none and the staff went far beyond the call of duty. They even made it possible for him to take a canal boat trip during the last week of his life, which was one of his final wishes. St Catherine's has a homely feel. The food is good, the residents are well cared-for and it is well-run. Ignore the CQC ratings - St Catherine's gets it right in the things that really matter.
