Pretty much the usual for Sainsbury's. We personally don't shop here but ended up going out of necessity! The layout Is confusing, maybe it's just me but it seems like there's random placement of items about. The whole scanning your receipt idea is a new one that I understand.

Far cleaner and better stocked than Asda over the road. Staff are better too. Most of the time they have what I need and prices are competitive to surrounding areas, cheaper than many other local shops. It would be even better if the frozen selection was bigger and it's also very weird that you have to scan a receipt on exit to self check-out, especially when it doesn't scan and nobody is obliged to show receipts when leaving a shop, I would leave a 5 if this hadn't been introduced.

Disappointed with their covid policy of allowing sick staff into work with covid telling them they have to go in or not get paid. I wonder how many vulnerable people have been infected by sick staff. On food in general good quality but fruit and veg often not up to good standard and their so called crusty rolls nearly broke my jaw. Not light and crusty but hard and chewy left me in a lot of pain! No canopy at the van so in torrential rain, shopping gets soaked, boxes go soggy, we get soaked and their poor staff get soaking after soaking. You would think with the money they make they could afford some kind of shelter at the collection van at Sainsbury’s Farlington!

Went for breakfast told 20min, which was fine. Waited 45min. It turned up with no apology. It was cold. Toast not done. Told the young lad serving the service was bad and the food was cold, He stood hands on hips... o well have a good afternoon". Dreadful service...."

What happened to all the vegan meal deal options, used to do a VFC (amazing and tasty) but after checking for 2-3 months and still no vegan options. I guess getting the Jolly Hog (pun intended, as the pigs are SO jolly when they get gassed from the inside out) to be put on the shelf in nice packaging, let's move away from exploiting sentient beings and use a sick conceding brand name to make the consumers feel better.

A big store with a big selection of foods and non foods. Quiet when we visited today but there was still a small queue to get in and up the escalator. We spotted a small TV which was just the size we had been looking for but there was no obvious way to buy it. The sign said ask at the desk near the TVs but another sign on the desk said it was permanently closed ask a member of staff for help. We looked about but only seemed to get the attention of a security guard! We admitted defeat and picked up a few odds and ends instead and left the store. A good store for variety but best stick to groceries here.

Not a bad supermarket for the most part but demanding every customer scan their receipts on leaving the self-service to get past barriers is completely unacceptable. It's uncomfortable and unwelcome. You're effectively taken prisoner if you don't pick up your receipt. Wasteful and cynical about the customer base, no thanks.

Always clean & tidy. Good range of food & non food items. Friendly staff. Be aware recently changed parking from 3 to 2 hours free which is a shame as used to get breakfast before shopping now not enough time unless rushing
