Screwfix Peterborough - Fengate

Good service. Staff knowledge of products is great. They are very helpful.Only downside is the fact that some stock need to be pre ordered day before and if you are in urge of something then have to wait 24 hrs.

I find it quite convenient to have a Screwfix in my city and in a great location. If I need any tools, accessories and hardware products, it is my first choice beside ToolStation. Their prices are reasonable.

Used to be a simple easy transaction but you can’t rely on their stock indicator when ordering online, it says in stock for collection then you pay and find out you have to wait 2-3 days (neither can you get your refund for wasted orders until it comes into the store). The staff are decent but it’s not the uber convenient outfit it once was. This is why Amazon is winning with next day Prime delivery unfortunately. Still useful for small bits.

To be honest sometimes i feel like this isy second home as i dont over buy , i buy as i go so as the project isoving alone i purchase what i need , but this place def the place to go ,lile a magic shop they have all an in case they dont dont you worries they will get it next day

I visited Screw fix with my Mum last Saturday due to going on a Wild Goose Chase trying to find a Torque Wrench due to forgetting one at home, Screw fix was the 3rd store to visit and we were ordered by Tobbias (Apologies if spelt wrong), looked at the screen, was very helpful & kind and had a good sense of humour too, along with it picked up the wrong one and realised that he found the incorrect one on the site and sorted it quickly without costing us for the wrong one, customer service was absolutely fantastic, absolute credit to Screw fix Tobbias is got fantastic services, definetely would recommend this Screw fix and we will definetely be coming back here if we forget another tool, thanks Tobbias especiallyKindest RegardsFrom a very happy and satisfied customer, Zach

You never really know how good a retailer is until maybe something goes wrong, I purchased a lawnmower back in June used it a few times and been ok, used it Sunday and it cut out on further examination the wire's had melted so could have been very dangerous. I took it back to the Fengate branch in Peterborough and I have to say they were outstanding they dealt with the matter straight away and it was a pleasure to deal with them I don't normally leave many reviews but just wanted to say thanks for such a great experience.

Fantastic service. The staff were quick, polite and extremely helpful. They loaded 3 rads into our little Clio. Prices are competitive as usual. Brilliant service.

Came to ScrewFix looking for some college uniform for my son and was greeted by a young man by the name of Jake (I believe). He was very polite and is an absolute credit to the team , he was so helpful throughout everything and whenever I asked a question he would know the answer to it. We ended up finding the boots we needed (steel toe cap) and upon walking out , Jake smiled at us and told us to have a great day. Small gestures like this mean a lot to people and I would just like to say many thanks to Jake for making our experience at the local screwfix amazing!
