King's College Chapel
Went there last week and it was very beautiful inside, particularly the fan vaulted ceiling, the choir benches and the golden organ. The side rooms were full of history about the red and white roses (Tudor dynasty, the 3 kings who built the chapel: Henry VI, Henry VII, Henry VIII), as well as the construction techniques and architecture. I lived in Cambridge since 2012 and honestly this is the second best tourist destination in Cambridge. (the first is punting)

It’s astonishing especially the inside. All the details on the vaulted ceiling and the coloured glasses is breathtaking. It’s has a very nice walk as well to the Backs which you can walk across the bridge and see the punts in the water with a whole view of the Kings college and the chapel. It is a million dollar view.

A very impressive building! Stunning architecture and detail. Quite expensive and full of tourists, but worth coming a few times in your life if you're into historic buildings.

King's College Chapel
Fantastic place to visit. Amazing architecture to look at and wonder at the skills of the craftsmen that took so long to build it. 30 years for the stained glass windows to give you some idea. Then walk down to the Cam via the backs.

King's College Chapel
The cathedral boasts impressive and unusual architecture, especially notable in the design of its ceiling. The informational displays in the side areas are well-prepared and intriguing, offering insights into the cathedral's history and significance. Visitors will appreciate the availability of flyers in many different languages, catering to an international audience. Additionally, the surrounding garden area is beautifully maintained, providing a serene setting for a short stroll. The price is a bit high.

Enter through the side entrance, through Clare’s Gate. Tall, narrow, chapel w/ stunning stained glass windows. Cambridge University students can bring guests free of charge.

This is absolutely one of the most iconic and best buildings in Cambridge and definitely lives up that reputation. The building on the outside is absolutely stunning and amazing with its breathtaking medieval architecture but the building on the inside is just as good with some superb distinguishing features such as the Organ and The Vaulted Ceiling with the Vaulted Ceiling in particular absolutely sumptuous in its attention to detail and construction and The Vaulted Ceiling is one of the best around and is as good if not better as some of the Vaulted Ceilings seen in any Medieval Cathedral in the UK. The Organ as well is excellent and wonderfully commanding with its delightful architecture and serves as a great divide from the top end of the Chapel and to the bottom end of the Chapel. Inside the Chapel there are a number of beautiful dragon carvings and also spectacular stained glass windows. In a couple of the side rooms there a couple of beautifully detailed portraits. There is interesting and informative exhibition about the history of the Chapel from its beginnings and construction through the Influence of King Henry VI, how the Vaulted Ceiling was constructed and also Music, Ritual and Pilgrimmage. The grounds surrounding and building that form part of the Kings College Campus are stunning and blend very well with the Chapel. Whilst wandering around the grounds you can see the meadow, which is amazing and provides particularly views towards the Chapel in the Summer Months and in the Grounds you can wander down to the Small stream where you can enjoy the iconic views of the Chapel, which capture the very image of Cambridge and its character. There is a gift shop in the Visitor Centre situated opposite the Chapel selling a lovely range of gifts at Nice prices and the staff on site are very friendly and welcoming. Overall this is a fabulously iconic place to visit whilst in Cambridge, which is very much deserving of its prominent and iconic status. The place also makes for a spectacular and enjoyable historic day out. Definitely well worth a visit when visiting Cambridge and definitely tops the list of things to do when visiting Cambridge.

One cannot visit Cambridge without visiting King's College Chapel (a shop opposite sells tickets). There is a detailed exhibition of its history and a pamphlet guide. A stunning place!

King's College Chapel
Like most other listed attractions in the city, this was completely closed from the public when I was there, without even an option to pay an entrance fee (which is ridiculous anyway for a university of this 'status'). I totally get the scaffolding etc (they claim it to be part of making the building more 'green' with solar roofings), but not even being able to step into the university grounds to have another view is just very bad taste.

Very interesting beautiful building. Seemed strange to be in a Chapel which was full of youngsters creating quite a bit of noise. It was actually quite refreshing. Found the information leaflet really helpful. You can buy tickets from shop opposite King's College.
