Booked my car in with Nigel about 1 month in advance (they are busy, so if it is a routine service, give a few weeks notice). MOT service check, brake fluid moisture check and thorough inspection carried out. Gave me great advice about oil leaking from the shocks. Could be a potential MOT fail. However, recommended to wash underneath and keep an eye on it. No need to replace at this moment. Happy to say the advice was spot on, and the car passed. Very pleasant people to deal with, honest and knowledgeable. £55 for the service. No oil change required. Happy with the price and will go back in future.

I booked in with Nigel McFarland Auto to get my brake pads and discs replaced. I took the car down first thing on the day and the friendly fellow at the desk took my key and answered a couple of questions. I asked how much it would be but of course part availability would have to be checked which I hadn't thought of. I got a call soon after quoting a very fair price and let me know it would be done about lunch time. I got a call at 1pm the same day to say the car was ready and paid exactly the price quoted. Couldn't have been easier or more pleasant.

I have taken my last couple of cars to Nigel and the service has been consistently second to none. Both Nigel and Neil are extremely knowledgable and their best quality (aside from the work which is excellent)as a garage, in my opinion, is their commitment to spending time talking through and explaining the work done/to be done with the customer.

Have been using Nigel's auto service for 10 years or more, every time they provide a 5 star service. Nigel and Neil are very knowledgeable and will explain in detail the work which needs done. They are always busy which is always a good sign. The work is always exceptional and well priced. Couldn’t recommend more.

Been to Nigel McFarland Autos every couple of months for over a year (I have a near 20 year old car so regular issues). The only way I can explain the service is to say they are opposite of all the negative stereotypes and bad experiences you hear about mechanics.All the interactions with staff have been consistently professional, the work completed has been to a v. High standard at competitive prices. For me the highlight was how staff are totally genuine and honest about any issues with the car and work that needs done. I live on the opposite side of the city, but won't be considering going anywhere else anytime soon.

Great service, phoned in a panic as my brakes were clearly faulty, Neil was so helpful, got my car over to him within the hour and he had the problem sorted within a few hours even though they were busy. Talked me through the whole process and was so genuine.5 star service, well done..amazing customer service.

I've always been given great service fairly priced. Nigel and the team are easy to talk to, very helpful and trustworthy. I was given good advice on whether my old car was worth fixing and then was given great advice on what cars were worth buying in my set budget-above and beyond. Highly recommended

Very pleased with service on offer. Have had the car serviced up till now with major dealership (household name) and when i reported a problem with the suspension they completely missed the fault. Not the first time either. When I called in here out of desperation they took it for a test drive to ensure care was safe in spite of being very busy. Neil diagnosed the fault and booked me in. Repair excellent with the reassuring feeling you are dealing with professional mechanics rather than sales people. Fixed at half the price of the dealership too! Neil is very friendly, approachable and helpful. Highly recommended.
