The Avon Causeway
Stayed here with my wife and 2 of our friends and 2 dogs too. Absolutely loved it. Very nice pub with lots of railway memorabilia. Very helpful and friendly staff and it is very dog friendly, even came with a little doggy breakfast and a dog bowl in our rooms which was a nice touch. Lovely food too.The view as you drive into the car park of the pub is stunning both at day and night and cannot recommend this place enough. I would definitely stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

We had a lovely Sunday roast. We stopped going to the Avon Causeway a couple of years ago, because of bad food and the service wasn’t good. But my friend said come back for lunch as it was lovely. The whole atmosphere had changed, very clean, food superb, staff very friendly. Thanks

Party of 4. Nice place to visit. Pub is quite spacious. Plenty choice on menu and food of good standard. Bit concerning was that we pre booked a table online received a confirmation email and a reminder email the day before booking. Despite this on arrival our booking could not be found despite showing our confirmation. Luckily the restaurant was quiet so proved not to be a problem but could have done so.

Had a two night stay, short notice (family funeral) .Had a really nice stay service and welcome was excellent, rooms could do with a wee bit of TLC but very comfortable and adequate. We dined there both nights which we all agreed was high quality fayre. Breakfast also was of high quality, We had to leave early(6.30) on second day, so they made up a breakfast bag for us, sparse,,one croissant, orange juice and an orange,, but welcome as they didn't have to supply it at all.Overall a lovely stay, staff were all knowledgeable and very friendly. Next time will try the pullman restaurant carriage for dinner.Thank you.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my parents to celebrate some great news. Food was fantastic, service was pleasant and attentive.Had a mix up paying the bill, but this was resolved quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended, rooms clean and well represented.Really pleasant, helpful staff, couldn't do enough to help you. Would definitely recommend. Excellent breakfast even did breakfast for Alfie our dog. Lovely evening meal and best pint for a long time

The Avon Causeway
This is the second time I have visited The Avon Causeway for lunch - after a chance occasion about a month ago. It was such an excellent meal in convivial company with a well laid out restaurant and reasonable garden that I decided to return for a small celebration with a family member.Again, the meal was excellent, the staff friendly, helpful without being too attentive and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Don't come here if you want food after 8:30. I sat there very hungry so i got two pints and some peanuts at the cost of £14:50. A few more pints i was informed at 10 past 10, they were closing . There website say they shut at 11.00. Not good and very expensive.
