Spotlessly clean. Good location. The facilities were great, fridge and kettle. Nice comfortable bed, good linen and nice thick towels.Self check in but it was ok as on a main road. Car parking straight outside hotel.Good value for money.

2 night stay, wifi unavailable whole weekend. No information in the bedrooms or anywhere regarding check out and breakfast arrangements. Comfy beds, but as stated by someone else rather basic hotel. Free parking outside was a bonus.

The price was good and the interior of the single room and the house was looking great. No big space but enough if you are searching for a place to sleep. The shower cabin was good but the pressure of the hot water is not so wow. I didn't like the smell of the cigarette on the hallway between the bathroom and the room. Otherwise no complaints. There is a free public parking in front of but nothing reserved for the guests..so depends how lucky you are. Around 20-25 minutes walking to the city center. The keys we found them in the lockbox, but there was nobody at the desk in case you need it.

Stayed here this weekend...It's a lovely hotel old classical style with that Victorian feel...Kerry and her hubby were the perfect host very helpful, the service for breakfast was top class as they gave you a choice of what breakfast they did. The rooms were beautiful big and spacious i would stay here again as location good as well ..

Was a good stay, needed a few things fixing eg mattresses, wall socket beside the bed and toilet seat but apart from that was close to everything

Very clean and well appointed room which is a very good size with a bathroom off to the side. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Would definitely recommend without any doubt whatsoever.

Love this place, Ann is a fantastic host at the hotel, she is very welcoming and friendly. More than happy to help, as I had a pram and she was very helpful. The place is nicely decorated and each room is different decor as we stayed two nights, lots of character. Very clean and tidy. Highly recommend. It isn't too far from town about a 15 - 20 minute walk down hill, you may want to jump a taxi if drunk on route back because that uphill will seem like forever ha! Definitely be staying here again.

We have travelled extensively and have to say this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. The website advertises secure parking. When we arrived we were told to park out in the Main Street. We booked a deluxe double room, the carpet is stained, there is a Formica wardrobe with 3 hangers in it. There is certainly no character to the hotel. Paint is chipped and stained in the room. The WiFi is sporadic. Even the cups for the tea and coffee are chipped and only one teaspoon. However the ultimate annoyance is today, the hottest day of the year so far, we have been out all day and looking forward to a shower when we arrived back in, the room has not been made up, our towels still in the shower from this morning and no toilet paper! We have yet to come across an employee in the hotel, so can’t even complain! The room was not cheap however the standard and service has been of a very cheap B&B. Please do not book if you are browsing for a hotel to stay in Liverpool!!
