I have to say the braising steak and chips I had today was spot, my mate had the chicken and minted gravy and she also said it was spot on. Staff were really pleasant will definitely eat from here again

Chips where yesterday chips not fresh fish inside batter was OK but I can tell it was ot so fresh has ouncil said they do fresh chips well mine where it shall not go for my chips n fish from this place the woman serving was helpful thou and polite floor didn't seem that clean I spent 28 pound or 26 pound for 4 ppl I was let down when I was looking forward to the best fish n chips .

Freshly cooked fish to order, but would recommend being prepared to wait. A small sacrifice.Portions are good, but can sometimes contain a few small hard scraps of chips.Overall can't fault them for service and food quality though.

Another great chippy around the Hanley area, sells the usual foods you'd expect. Prices on parr with most chip shops, but the quality of the food is lovely and there's always a queue.

Food is nice and good prices . However , complained about having fresh food instead of the ones that's been sitting in the window. Complained about the £10 Scottish note saying they don't except it because it's sterling . Just as I was leaving told me to take my money elsewhere .In addition there was no gloves worn to prepare the food or while serving it . Other staff member was battering up a fish without gloves on which isn't very hygienic.I've worked in a chip shop since I was 15 and I've always worn gloves to serve , cook or prepare food . For a business it's not very good to see staff pushing away customers !!Won't be going here again and wouldn't recommend tbh.
