I visited Mar & Terra this week for dinner with my Dad and brother. We were blown away by the whole experience! The food was INCREDIBLE! We ordered the mixed seafood grill and the lobster and steak dish, octopus and some sides. The food was immaculately presented and was cooked to perfection!!!! I honestly cannot wait to come back already. 10/10 for quality, taste and price. Also, the staff were amazing, and took time to speak to us and tell us all about the restaurant which I loved, as made the experience feel so personal. This restaurant is a gem and I recommend you try! Thank you Mar & Terra!

One of the best Portuguese restaurant I’ve ever had. Randomly search for a Portuguese rest near London and found this one, very impressed. All foods are beautifully presented but taste even better. Excellent service as well. Well done!

A wonderful place with a great ambiance and respectful staff. Excellent food with incredible taste.We ordered pasta it was very delicious.Apart from the food being lovely here,the service is quick and helpful. Great place for a dinner with friends or family.

This food was amazing! The seafood was fresh with outstanding flavours. I’m a picky eater but this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Mar Terra and compliment to the chef.

Update:Returned (multiple times) and all expectations were exceeded. The quality of food was exceptional, with new ingredients added to dishes that were ordered before. The staff are attentive and happy to offer assistance with what to choose. The atmosphere is nice and the loudness of the previous visit was definitely due to it being Mother's day.Original:Food was good and not what we were expecting. There's not much information online about the menu or even pricing, so we were delighted with all the dishes on offer. The portions were large, dishes flavoursome and well-priced. We had an issue with the bread being undercooked but staff were helpful and quickly fixed it. Loved the decor but the only con was the atmosphere and service. The service was slow, it took a while to get seated and we had to actively flag down staff when we were at the table. The restaurant was very loud when we visited and at times it felt like we had to shout to speak to each other. However, it seems like the restaurant was busier than usual and so the cons are likely due to it being a Sunday and Mother's day. Looking forward to visiting again on a weekday and enjoying some more Portuguese cuisine!

I’ve come a couple times to this restaurant and i have never had an issue, food and service has always good, but i have never been disrespected by the staff until today. I visited the restaurant with my family, only to wait two hours for the mains to arrive, and missing sides in most of the dishes. The communication from staff to floor to customers is very poor, as we were only told that we wouldn’t be receiving our sides after the food arrived once we asked. I payed for a supposedly “bitoque” when i only received a piece of steak and egg. Manager gave sly comments in a couple occasions, that felt highly disrespectful. One of the waiters forgot a dish, and staff didn’t take accountability and tried to blame us and argue.Horrible service, Very disappointed.
