Came in for a roast, lots of the fancier places were booked up.The service here is brilliant. The waitresses were really attentive and lovely.The food was pretty good! The roasts were lovely.

Had a great meal here tonight. Good food and drinks menu. Staff are all very friendly with a cute pub dog. We felt very welcome and would definitely return.

The Sunday roast lamb ranked amongst the best we've ever had, with interesting well-cooked sides included. The exterior of this pub promises little, but the food service is good reason to go inside...and return. Our only criticism would be the (very) poor selection of beers, so be prepared to opt for wine, cider or stout instead.
