Bedford House Dental Practice

This practice is brilliant. I rang today at 8.30, was seen at 9 45am and had my filling repaired by 10! The staff are all very friendly and kind. A special word of thanks to Hamish the dentist who is really good.

Absolutely appalling service. I was told an appointment had been made for me and unless I called to say I didn’t need it, it would remain. When ringing to confirm I was on my way I was informed my appointment been given away and my appointment wasn’t actually booked, just reserved. I was told the surgery tried to call, which they did not. I was repeated reminded the service was first come, first serve, of which I had to inform the receptionist I was caller number 2 at 8am. Highly unprofessional.If I could give 0 stars I would.

I’ve always been uneasy at dentists, however I’ve been having treatment by hamish and he is great. He is so understanding and does everything at your own pace, if any discomfort stops immediately until you are ok to continue. The receptionists are lovely too, always very welcoming and nice to talk to :) also get reminders the day before your appointment which is great if you’re like me and have terrible memory!!

Extremely rude female dentist! (I don't remember her name). I took my son for an emergency appointment, as he had an infection. She was so rude when telling me to take him to his registered dentist and not there. She wouldn't let it go either. It was like being told off by your head teacher. Being spoken down to, like a child. And nothing she had to say was about my son's care. I hope kindness and compassion are not on her resume. I will never go back if I can help it. It's a shame, because the reception staff were quite lovely. A rare thing.

A brilliant and professional service from my dentist Hamish. He is both thorough, diligent and kind and gives you good advice on how to properly brush and look after your teeth.I would have given 5 stars, but I do get fed up with always having to fill out forms on my arrival, which seems totally unnesseary as you have all your patients information on your computer system.

Awful experience. The Dentist was rude and barely spoke any English. I am disabled and was made to stand up multiple times to come and sign papers while she sat at her computer not even looking at me. Did not listen at all to what i had to say. It was rushed and i felt very uncomfortable with her attitude towards me. I was prescribed the wrong medication and was supposed to be referred for an extraction which never went through. I had to go to another dentist to actually have the correct treatment. The room was dirty and the chair was falling apart. I have epilepsy and asked to have some eye covering from the over head light to which I was told 'no you don't need it'. I will never be going there again. Useless. Communication is key to treating people with health issues and this place will be no help if they continue treating people the way I was!

Service at the dentist has been optimal. Professional & friendly on reception. And my dentist and assistant have been brilliant.Marking down 1 star solely on the phone service. Was on hold for ages and then when opting to leave a message instead, the mailbox was full. Ended up visiting in person to book an appointment.Aside from that, it's excellent here.

Everyone was very kind and professional. I had an emergency appointment. Was seen in a timely manner. I was very happy with my treatment.

I had my appointment with Hamish this morning as usual hes a lovely gentleman and very very good dentist. His work has stayed where others have tried to cover a dent in my front teeth and failed its always fallen off before. his has remained lovely a year after doing. Very pleased with my dentist.

I was somewhat apprehensive this morning now the lovely Katie has left, but Hamish was amazing, very easy to talk to and explained everything very clearly. Reception staff also friendly. All in all great service, thank you.
