IN MUSIC IN MEDIA

Fantastic workshops and fantastic outcomes!Part of my role working as an education coordinator for Fermynwoods Contemporary Art is to book artists to run workshops for students excluded from mainstream education.In music in media came highly recommended to me, yet still exceeded my expectations. Their relatable approach instantly captivated the students, inspiring them to find their inner voice and write and record their own tracks, made possible with the portable studio equipment. Students were so proud of their creations, they went on to create a music video to accompany their track.One student was so inspired he chose In Music In Media as his artist inspiration for part C of his Bronze arts award, another student passed on the skills he had learnt from In Music In Media for his own skills share forming Part D of his bronze Arts award.The students often ask when they can work with In Music In Media again and are looking forward to their next workshop.
