Went for some lunch first. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive and another 30 to eat it.Had a query about some clothing sizes. Took another 30 minutes to get an answer from the 1 member of staff available.Did our shopping using scan and shop (thought we would sail through check-out), but were selected for a check. The self-serve and scan and shop check-outs were quite busy and only manned by 1 member of staff for both sections. Took another 30 minutes to get through there.I have now received a £70 parking charge notice for going over my 2 hour parking allowance.Thanks Sainsbury's!

We tried to buy a Meal Deal today but discovered that there was no wine left. A staff member scanned all 4 barcodes and told all 4 customers who were waiting that there was none in stock and that we would have to have some unbranded lager instead. None of us wanted to do that. The curious thing was that there was at least enough food on the shelves for about 20 more meal deals, yet only enough lager for 4 meals to go with them! We all put the food back and left, discussing whether the wine was being kept back for the staff? I know a customer did take photos of both the staff member who ran off with promises to help and of the meal deal shelves. Don't be surprised if they appear on social media later today.

Found pieces of sharp plastic and a piece of hair under a yum yum I’d been looking forward to all day. Utterly disgusting, the hygiene rating should be 1. Never buying from Sainsbury’s bakery again.

Great store. Cafe is good. Does take time for food to arrive but its freshly cooked so not an issue for us.

The Argos staff are prompt and Sainsbury's sometimes has good offers on alcohol. I used to come here every Friday as a child, first when it was Safeway and then when it became Sainsbury's, with cheap lamb chops and reduced baguettes which were lovely. Some of the reduced stuff is fantastic, as are the nectar prices. Staff are wonderful here - is now a bit weird with the barriers in place as you must now scan your receipt to leave, though there is an exit next to the tobacco area. Plenty of self service and also a Specsavers, but no pharmacy as anymore.

A good variety of food at reasonable prices, and also a good variety of beverages alcoholic & non alcoholic. Also has other merchandise & is a bonus having Argos in store.

Use to be good. But now made it 2 hrs parking supposed improvementLast week we did weekly shop,visited specsavers wanted to have lunch but time expired on disabled car parking so had to leave or face a possible £70 parking findThey are having a laugh never againWhat's the point of having multi franchise in stores but no time to use them Angery

Total shambles at checkouts. Usually only 2 manned and the rest self service which nearly always have a problem too. Always queues and staff not particularly helpful. Will be avoiding this store in future as much as possible.
