Having read other reviews of Border Gas NW, I gave them a call when I needed a gas hob replacing. Mark got straight back in touch with me and came around to do the job a couple of days later. Upon investigation, it turned out that the replacement hob was unsuitable for my application (my fault, not his). He explained why it was wrong, and what I should check for when sourcing a replacement. Once I had the new hob, Mark came back straight away (out of normal working hours) and fitted it for me. To say it was challenging is an understatement (due to the size and positioning of my existing oven and surrounding cupboards) but Mark worked some kind of magic on the pipework and plumbed it in neatly, safely, and expertly. I was completely happy with the job. To cut a long story short, Mark got me out of what could have been a very expensive pickle. He's also a certified Baxi installer so I've booked him to service mine. I highly recommend Border Gas NW.

Mark displayed a great deal of knowledge about my system, taught me things I didn't know about it. Pricing was very reasonable, I was very impressed with the work carried out. Mark did a great job and Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking heating installation/repair and servicing work by Border Gas.

I recently had to call on Mark when my old central heating system started giving problems - it was the first time I had used Border Gas NW but I shall certainly go back to them for any future work. Mark diagnosed the fault very quickly and came up with the most cost-effective solution, saving me money and stress - he is a very knowledgable person and was happy to take time to explain the various options. In summary, I couldn't be more pleased with both the standard and cost of the work done.

Mark and Rob have just finished installing my boiler and they have both done a excellent job. They are really nice people to work with and also put me in touch with other bulider’s to help with other jobs around the house. I would 100% recommend using Boarder GAS to anyone and I wouldn’t definitely use them again in the future.

Found Mark on Google, and he had some good review so I gave him a call - he came out promptly to have a look, and got booked to replace my boiler easily. Friendly service and happy to tell you what's going on. He arranged for an electrician to come out on the day to sort a new thermostat, and arranged for a scrap man to come and pick up the old boiler - all in all, great service.

Having only just got on the ladder with my 1st house, everything is completely new and unknown, getting things arranged and jobs being done in the house especially. Mark was very informative and showed an ongoing attention to me understanding the work being carried out and was so obviously driven to provide top quality work. He carries the work out in such a professional manner with attention to detail and the way in which he operates really makes you feel that your in good hands. I have had just the one experience using Border Gas but with further gas related jobs on the horizon , i know who i shall be calling.

Have used Mark at Border Gas for over 15 years now, and can thoroughly recommend him for prompt, professional service at fair prices. He explains everything he is doing and is very safety conscious, and contacts you afterwards to make sure things are ok, and you are happy. He has helped us at short notice in emergencies on several occasions for which we were very grateful. We will be refurbishing our bathroom over the next few months and we will be using Border Gas.

We had a problem with our gas cooker and were a bit anxious about calling someone out as sadly not everyone is genuine. Mark arrived when he said he would and was really helpful and knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly to us. His charges were very reasonable and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone as he is a truly helpful decent person.
