An enormous thank you to Peter and the team for the funeral of both my parents. It only seems like yesterday that we lay my brother to rest in 1999. Time flies. My existing older brother dealt with the finer details because I was too upset to face it (if you have ever cared for your parents and lived for them you will know my pain) but everything was handled very professionally. The flowers and casket for my mother were more beautiful than I remembered and the pall bearers and driver were very polite and attentive. It was a sunny day when we lay my mother to rest. The saddest day of our lives. My father passed three months later and we stuck to a similar pattern to make it easier for all of us. He was buried on a rainy, sunny day just like his personality in life! There is a reason why Demetriou and English are the funeral directors to the Cypriot community. I cannot thank Peter, and everyone at Demetriou and English enough.

They guided and advised us and nothing was too much trouble for them. Superb service from start to finish - they looked after my mum as if she was there own. They listened and delivered everything that we asked of them and more.Mum had the perfect send off and in what was such a difficult time Peter and all the staff made the process so much easier.

I was so impressed with how sympathetic, helpful, polite and professional the staff were. At a time when we were grieving very deeply, having such lovely directors certainly soothed some of the pain. All the time I spent worrying about whether everything would go well was totally wasted, as I needn't have worried about a single thing. The funeral went very smoothly from start to finish, and everything was done so well. Thank you very much for such a wonderful service - I know my dad would have loved it.

Demetriou & English are outstanding. Christiana arranged our father’s funeral with compassion, professionalism, excellence and thorough organisation. Christiana was always available either on the phone, email or in person.She was kind, considerate and supportive of us as a family during a difficult time.We are also so grateful for the gentleman responsible for all the logistics on the day, it all ran very smoothly. He guided us with kindness and respect at every stage, from the moment the team arrived at our home, then at the church and at the cemetery. He consulted us throughout and also communicated to the guests on our behalf explaining the arrangements.We trusted D&E with all the funeral arrangements, from the flowers, to the catering for funeral wake, pariorka, booking of the church, booking to choose plot at cemetery, transport on the day for family. This was the best decision we made.All the staff we met from D&E were very polite, respectful and professional. We would recommend D&E wholeheartedly.

My father’s funeral was extremely well orchestrated from beginning to end. From the day they were informed, about our dad’s passing, to the church service, burial and finally the wake, Peter’s team were there supporting and guiding us, all along the way. They helped with all of the paperwork and provided immaculate funeral cars for the family. Their catering provision was also, second to none. Peter Demetriou is a true professional, whose knowledge and calming presence, is incredibly reassuring, when grief and sorrow prevail. I was grateful to be in Demetriou and English’s capable hands, at such a difficult time.
