Stayed at this travelodge last 100% lovely hotel manger on the reception room cleaned very well lovely view facing the water front evening meal and breakfast spot on staying here again

Nicest staff I can remember meeting. But the room smelled of urine. It’s extremely basic -hairdryers on request at reception (and they don’t tell you in advance, you only find out when you’re out the shower. Don’t think I’ll stay in a Travelodge again.

Great location, right by the docks. We were on the 9th(top) floor and so had as nice a view as you can expect of Liverpools docks. Rooms are basic but it’s cheap and also quiet, shower is adequate. Breakfast was good and only £10 so very reasonable. Bed quite comfortable too.

Photos of most issues posted below. An uncomfortable dirty/hairy box with a bed in it. Pillows felt like they were stuffed with rocks. Suspect white powder still on bedroom carpet. Lights in half the room not working. Seating directly under hanging space so unusable. TV tiny and does not pick up any stations (similar problems in my 11 travel companions rooms) Kettle dirty on inside. No tea or coffee in room. No decaff available. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Long black hairs stuck to wall and on floor. Short curly hairs in sink. Shower in my room (and those of my 11 travelling companions) weak, more like a dribble than a shower. Soulless and noisy room. Could hear room next door talking and also at night sounded like people were chatting directly outside bedroom window even though I was several floors up. Breakfast unappetising. Orange juice more like squash. Scrambled eggs gritty. Sausages have low meat content. Bacon very very salty. Bar ridiculously expensive (and I'm used to paying London prices). Avoid this hotel at all costs.

It’s the best Travelodge I’ve stayed in the city, but it’s just s a Travelodge at the end of the day. Everything is bare bones, the bed is comfortable, there are no sockets by the bed (unless you have a USB-A cable), the walls are thin but then the room rates fit the location are excellent, it was clean and warm and the staff friendly.

Our room, a family room smells of pee. A strong smell of pee which is absolutely disgusting especially I have my 2 young kids. Reported it since we arrived. Promised someone will check right away but no one did. Requested if we can change room and they keep making excuses. Never ever I will book to any Travel Lodge again in my lifetime.

Great staff, great facilities Breakfast included was very good plenty of options. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Stayed two nights in June. Got a nice room.It all started going wrong when my girl friend tried to take a shower. Started fine then went really hot, so she had to jump out. Then went really cold. The extractor did not work & had been pulled away from the wall. We were offered another room just to use the shower. In this room the water from the shower would not drain, so had to exit shower before it flooded the room. Still with soap on.No maintenance on site.Had a drink at the bar, but the bar was so hot had to leave there and the half finished drinks. Air conditioning was turned off, cut backs i presume.Lovely staff, let down by poor building up keep. Lady on the front desk, when we left took my mobile number & said would contact me, but so far not hear anything.

I use Travelodge a lot and it’s nice to see an upgraded one, but……On arrival after a long drive there was no shower or hand gel in the room. On the way out for food I asked for this to be corrected and they said they would.On return from food still not corrected.Staff then bring gel in a glass as they have no access to the store.Shower new and I get environmental issues but eco head not delivering enough flow and temperature barely warm.Bed surround covered in what I guess is skin dust, only noticed in the morning.Chair positioned under a makeshift clothes hanger thing so that you whack your head.Room quiet, bed comfy, but otherwise not enough to make me stay here again or recommend.Check my other reviews, I think this is my first 2 star ever in years. Shame.
