Being new to buying property in the Canterbury area I really didn't know where to start. I rang Haart Estate agents for some advice on the areas to look for within our budget and Christopher Murton spent over half hour talking me through where to look. He then assisted me further with an email list of villages and roads he recommended and ones he thought wouldn't be suitable for us. He has been beyond helpful and I strongly recommend him for anyone looking to buy in Canterbury especially those that are new to the area.

A highly responsive and personalised approach from manager Chris Murton and his team. I've been most impressed by their proactive approach and regular communication. It helps to take some of the stress out of property transactions.

Our house has been in the family for 21 years but after much deliberation we decided it was time to sell and downsize. It was a difficult decision but Chris has been very dedicated to helping us find the right buyer for our beloved home. He is always at the end of the phone, charming to talk to, friendly yet professional. It has made this experience so much easier.

When selecting our estate agent I think we saw all the major players in the area (c 8 or so agents) and Chris at Haart was one of the most congenial without being over the top, did not bad mouth any other agencies (this was an immediate no from us when this happened), honest and open.We picked wisely, he was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Got us an amount that a few other agents said we would be unlikely to get. He kept us up to date, was super helpful with our buyer when they didn't understand things, and I suspect his pleasant, not over the top, not pushy approach is what definitely helped sell our house.Look no further if you are looking for a reliable, open and honest agency and the best agent locally.

From the outset Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had the sad task of selling a property following a bereavement and Chris handled the sale with professionalism and courtesy, always remembering how hard it was for the family.Chris kept us up to date the entire way through the process, which was long and arduous at times, but he always kept a positive and upbeat attitude, which helped immensely.He also took time to be a gardener, a cleaner, a bin man and a removal man. He dealt with some difficult neighbourhood busy bodies as well - all with a smile and never a complaint.The sale may have taken longer than expected and we encountered a few problems along the way but it seemed to me that Chris felt what we felt. Chris found us our perfect home and has been by our side throughout the whole purchase process, and it has been a lengthy one!
