Went yesterday for a quick drink. Very friendly place with lots of guest ales and ciders to try. I will try food next timeUpdate Tried a Sunday roast today, choice of three meats veg, trimmings and gravy. Great value.

We went on a Sunday afternoon without a booking but had the best home cooked meal for a roast. Being a vegetarian I was sceptical but was offered a huge portion of vegetables, roast potatoes, extra Yorkshire puddings, beautiful cauliflower cheese with vegetarian gravy. The lady was so warm and welcoming advised us to book next time so she could offer more vegetarian options. It’s a cozy family run pub that was heartwarming with a child helping around, real effort going into running the business. Will definitely go back, so many families were dining with little kids too.
