Haverfordwest is, by West Wales standards, an urban environment. As such, it's a very good place to do what I call non-perishable shopping. Supplies to put in your store room or cupboard. I enjoy shopping at Iceland for this reason. Also, the prices are very competitive, but you still are treated to special offers every time you visit. They are also generously staffed, meaning that there is no difficulty in finding someone to ask where something is if you need to.In closing, I would say that it just feels different. They are regarded as a budget supermarket, but there is nothing low standard about any of their stock, and there is plenty of help given with a real smile. And although it's a general impression on my part, my conclusion is that there is no hard pressure or stress working there, and that makes for a very favourable experience, and one you want to repeat.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Iceland as the name suggests have the majority of their products which are frozen and have a very good selection, they also sell the main staple foods so you can get your weekly shop in here at reasonable prices.

They wouldn't serve me beer because I walked in with someone that didn't have ID, I asked them if I was alone would they serve me and was told yes but when I returned alone i was refused anyway because they decided I must be buying it for someone else - it was just after the Wales football game and I only wanted to pick up a few cans and let them chill for later. If i was a teenager and my mum was buying a crate would they refuse her if I had no ID???I would have rated it a 0 if I could!!
