The Sunday roast was the best I've had for a long time with generous portions. Breakfast was nice too.

Nicely situated pub in quiet village, service was good, food was good and room was a good size, only negative was the state of the grouting in the shower which was covered in mould and mildew as was the flexible hose to the shower. Only needs a mould and mildew cleaner and a stiff brush and it would be fine, small details like this make all the difference to how you perceive a place. Having said this we would stop here again

This is my second visit to the Jolly Huntsman, the room was spacious and had all I needed for my brief stay.This time I ate there and the wild mushroom risotto with parmesan crisp was excellent just the right balance and a good portion. I was so impressed I could not resist the apple and pear crumble with cinnamon custard yum, yum.Very pleasant and the host was considerate as were the rest of the staff.I would recommend you try the pub and the food and a good place to stay nice combination of local village and wider base to explore from.

We had a fantastic meal at the Jolly Huntsman. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere. The food was very good and the service was top-notch. A must-visit for anyone looking for a cosy country pub.

Stayed here for 1 night as a stop over.Value for money it's good compared to the chain places locally. The clean while basic was clean and tidy and I had a comfortable sleep. The room I had was a bath with hose style shower, instead of a walk in style but still usable. I can't comment on food as I didn't eat here, but did visit the bar for a couple of drinks and felt very welcome. Would stay again if in the area.
