Mahon's Hotel

Couple of nights away from home to see a bit of Fermanagh. Massive room. Spotless. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower. Breakfast is fantastic ... you'll not need lunch. Also had dinner one night and it was also great. Staff were all so friendly.

If you where lucky to get in early for dinner yesterday you may have be fortunate to have better food than us. The place was very busy sadly we must have ended up with the left over reheated Turkey, Ham cold gravy and two very sad looking lifeless Brussel sprouts. Not what we where expecting . If Chef/ kitchen ,think it’s OK to send this out to be consumed by paying customers . It’s very disappointing . We probably won’t be in a hurry to return .

I retired at the end of November and one of my best friends suggested a mid week break in Fermanagh. Mahon's is an excellent hotel. The food is delicious although I cannot comment on Desserts as I was full after the generous portions which were served. The rooms are very comfortable with good WIFI. The reception and Bar areas are very homely and comfortable and can be accessed either through the front door or from the back door leading onto the car park. The car park has plenty of room. I found all the staff to be very friendly and attentive and you can see the owners working different areas along with their employees which is good. The hotel is very clean and the good sized rooms are kept very presentable and towels changed daily.I will definitely be back in the fairer weather when I can see more of the local attractions and of course enjoy more excellent food.Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Had dinner here last night, food was delicious, staff was friendly and polite. One waitress was really chatty and definitely made sure we enjoyed our meal. We also had dessert and the size of the pavlova would feed two people. Would definitely come back.

Have had a lengthy recent stay. An excellent choice, contacted before arrival, a nice touch, Welcome was nice, allowed early check in.Room spacious and comfortable, shower and bed excellent, good facilities, iron, board etc. Food really good at all times, fine quality and large portions., Hotel is clean, comfortable and interesting full of artifacts. Bar is friendly well priced and great place to relax, Brilliantentertainment, FSS. All staff really friendly and helpful at all times. Easy 5 star review, well deserved thank you.

Great spot, everyone praises the owner which is always a good sign, he's on the floor working just like all his staff, friendly, helpful and good crack. They now have a separate section you can stay called the castle Leslie( if you want away from the noise of the night life this is perfect) food is great , and portion sizes are huge, great prices for accommodations/food/drinks.Parking available also. If staying in castle Leslie the staff can pick you up and drop you off at the hotel at anytime also which is brilliant.

3 stars because food was not great, to much thickener and no flavour.Cold inside.Beautiful rooms, decoration, Christmassy atmosphere, helpful staff.

Food was excellent and first class the room was a lot more £50 more than the online quote. So a bit of a shock .ie £130 per night for one person £80 on some websites??? As I said the food was first class as was the service.
