Great hosts. great breakfast .and good atmosphere

Stayed here last week . Michael and Shaun are two of the nicest funniest people I have ever met . Very good value for money breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much trouble rooms nice and clean . Will definitely stay he again.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The owners are gems both Shaun and Micheal, we had a right laugh and I can't wait to go back. Made some proper good friends in them.The hotel was clean and a scrumptious breakfast.

Just had a Fantastic weekend, lovely and clean and excellent breakfast your hosts Shaun and Micheal are magic nothings too much trouble for them to make your stay as good as it can be.....defo back next year already booked

Hotel cleanish, hallway bar and reception smells stale on entry very off putting, comfy bed, rooms was never serviced during stay no clean towels, had to ask for clean towels breakfast room was like transport cafe, would of looked much nicer with table cloths. Breakfast was ok ,would not stay again very very dated . Could do with a defo refurb

This place absolutely saved the day!! We were a hen group who had booked accommodation nearby, unfortunately our accommodation was well below par, and that is putting it mildly! Whilst we were hanging around awaiting for our luggage we got chatting to Shaun, Michael and their lovely team. I enquired if they had rooms and to my delight they had two left! They advised us on where would be best for the rest of our group and offered us all breakfast the next morning. Knowing we were in dire straits and completely stuck they could have raised their prices and made a handsome profit! However they were true gems, didn't charge anything over their usual price and even accommodated those of us who weren't booked as guests for breakfast too. It was super cheap and delicious! They welcomed us to get ready together, again accommodating non guests and allowed us to have a drink at their bar as a group too. They couldn't do enough for us! I was shown my room ahead of committing to it too, which they didn't have to do but nothing was too much trouble! Unless they are booked up I would always stay here again! Clean rooms, great hospitality and just such wonderful humans! They really helped us go from disaster to turning the day around by just being so lovely and such a laugh! Thank you so much for saving the day! X
