We had a great day out today. This place is very well maintained, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the bait pond is full of nice fish. My 4 years old loved fighting his first ever trout. Highly recommend.

A great days fishing catch and release. The water is an amazing blue due to the UV filter added to prevent algae. Stunning surroundings with cafe and tackle shop. The rainbow trout were great fighters and quality! Photos show the main fly only lake. A smaller bait fishing pond is also available on site.

Visited Saturday 6th April, and as it was my first experience fly fishing I would say that it will not be my last. From arrival and throughout our visit we could not have been made to feel any more welcome Jimmy is an absolute wealth of information and advise. Although I didn't catch with a fly, the fish I saw being caught were a good size and in fantastic condition. As an experienced coarse fisherman I was able to wet a line in the stocked bait lake, this is sticked with rainbows around the 2lb mark, brilliant fun and a great challenge. Overall brilliant day and experience!!

We visited for the first time today since the fishery reopened. We stopped off for a coffee and a nose around. Chap who runs the fishery was helpful, friendly and welcoming. We sat and watched some of the young ones on the bait pond having the time of their lives landing rainbow trout. We will be back soon!

Only caught one rainbow trout, spent 2 hours. Beautiful backdrop. The guys/owners were great. It was too hot day, all the fish were gone deep to avoid hot sun.

Amazing day out, great place to introduce kids to fishing. 5 year old son caught 4 rainbow trout and loved it, keeps asking to go back. Connor was great help, great set up, very clean lovely surroundings. Will be back very soon

I have never fished in my life, but my father in law promised my soon to be 5 yr old that he would take him fishing so I tagged along. Honestly the place is awesome, James & Josie who was working were awesome and helpful. We spent a good few hours there and caught 2 5lb rainbows. James assured me my little lad would catch a fish he and went and got a spinner rod took him the other side of the pond and bingo my soon to be 5yr old reeled one in. Will deffo ately be back.

Great day out fishing with my children. Even my youngest daughter (5) got her trout, first for her. Conner was very helpful too, making sure that all my 4 children got a fish. My oldest boy even managed to catch a golden trout, the only one in there according to Conner. Highly recommend this place.

Visited the beat on The Tweed for a few hours on the Grayling ticket 2 miles of water to keep you occupied that hold fish, made to feel very welcome at the fishery in the morning on arrival great place.

Took the 2 grandsons fishing up at Kailzie fishery. They had a great time and cannot wait to go back.The owner Connor was a great help to both the boys and myself. Cannot praise him enough. If you are looking for a nice relaxing time in a beautiful setting, get along to the fishery.
