New owners - jacket potatoe microwaved - had to ask fir a teaspoon then sugar as it never came with the tea- asked for the bill was told the amount I asked fir a itemised bill and was told we do not do them so how can you check if you are being correctly charged? - old owners were great especially the food is no where near as nice.

My first time visiting here and I have been to Burley more times than I can remember. Well we will certainly be back! The food was delicious. I had a traditional cream tea and the other half had a Cheeseburger. Both were incredible. The food was fresh and scrumptious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is rustic and very quaint. We highly recommend. They also had a bench with a memorial plaque for Buster Merryfield.

Popped in for lunch after a long walk.Decided to have cold drinks and chips with Toasties and it did not disappoint.The chips are amazing!!Going back for brekkie soon so will leave a new review once we've been.

The 4 of us stopped for breakfast before our trip. Lovely welcome from all the team . The breakfast was fantastic, plates were hot and it was cooked perfectly poached eggs were spot on. Very good value. Thank you

Disappointing. Asked to sit outside for table service. All the tables and chairs were wet. Had to go in the toilets to get some tissues to dry the seats. Very slow service then the forgot half our order. The only plus side was a good cup of tea.

Such a lovely place staff were so nice and friendly service was brilliant and quick food was delicious and even allowed my dog to come sit in aswell highly recommended

It was a beautiful restaurant I visited today for breakfast. Amazingly clean with convenient parking and access. The building itself seems an art. Old structure has been beautifully maintained and tradition of typical English cutlery, fireplace and ceilings have been kept with love. Toilets were clean. Food was fresh and delicious- a value for money. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place.
