One of the best dining experiences I had in Norwich. Server was super nice and attentive. Food was tasty, well cooked and well presented. We had octopus, wild mushrooms, meatballs and tapas. Chef is great and I would definitely recommend this place.

Great Spanish tasting menu and the beef was amazing. Unlike other tasting menus I've had, here, halfway through, I was already concerned I might not be able to manage the pudding... but I did...

Wow! What a restaurant! We devoured the whole menu! Great cocktails to start, amazing starters, delicious wine, and then we finished with two of the biggest, most delicious, perfectly cooked steaks ever. Will come back again and again.

I should start with the exceptional service offered by the staff members. Their elegance was charming too. We absolutely loved the octopus. It was properly made and was cooked towards perfection. Cannot say the same for the aubergines as they were a bit rubbery (very common mistake outside of the Mediterranean and Asia). All the seafood was very fresh and well-made (not too dry, not too soft. They were slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chef has preserved all the rich taste.

We sat outside which was fine although tables a bit wobbly.Our meal was good and service was great. We felt the Triple cooked patatas were a bit salty , however, the other dishes were tasty and nice. Would go again, but need a steak partner to try one of their steaks which are on display inside.

Another super meal at this amazing restaurant. The croquettas and charcuterie board were both very tasty, the octopus on very thinly slices potatoes was quite simply a masterpiece, and the wine, Gallina de Piet 'Ikigall' from Cataluna was a great accompaniment. The serving staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, and the chefs are talented and innovative. Good idea to book as it's not a large restaurant and it's very popular. Once you've been you'll definitely want to return!!

Absolutely amazing!! The proverbial hidden gem, with outstanding, friendly service, lovely Spanish wines, and some of the best beef I've ever eaten!!I am a steak fan, and love a good bit of rib. The Galician beef they serve is some of the very best, and perfectly cooked, and perfectly seasoned. Served with a friendly smile and some interesting chat. The croquettas are also worthy of specific mention, being an exceptional, authentic, and bloody delicious rendition.Now, I have eaten great steaks in many restaurants, in many countries, but tonight Don Txoko did something that surprised me a lot; they took the prestigious award (in my head at least) of 'Best Steak I've Ever Eaten'... and there have been more than a few of these I can assure you. It takes something quite exceptional to be worthy of this coveted award, and to beat the other truly exceptional steaks I have eaten over the years.So, cutting to the chase, just go there! If you love steak, or you just appreciate good food, you will love it. It's only a small place (which adds to the charm) so book quickly before they get a well deserved three month waiting list!I cant wait for next month when I'm coming back to Norwich specifically to eat here.

It has been on my list for a while and I am now gutted I waited so long to visit Don Txoko.One of my new favourite restaurants. The service was amazing and the menu was top drawer.I can't wait to come back and try more!

Finally visited this Basque grill after 5 years in Norwich. Definitely one of my new favourites. Exemplary service. Galician aged rib to die for.
