Really nice local theatre. It's not too big, so you get a good view whether sitting in the stalls or in the balcony. Good acoustics.It has a little bar and there is plenty of room and seating for those in wheelchairs or that use walking aids.

Beautiful theatre and great location with a huge car park close. The staff were so pleasant and lovely. The seating was comfortable and Theatre was clean. We really enjoyed last nights Irish trubute show and must say as my 1st time visiting the Theatre Royal in Dumfries I very much enjoyed it and will absolutely visit again for future shows.

The oldest theatre in Scotland. A great independent wee theatre, offering a good selection of visiting theatrical productions together with its own amdram plays. A gem that deserves our support.
