Flowing onto the Coal Drop-yard retail development this meticulously landscaped zone with fountain features extending into a manicured lawn and residential developments near Granary Square.➖ Revisited 4years later ➖Seamless integration now with this area now multi-functional as both public space and event/function zone.Still unconvincing as a destination but certainly pleasant and relaxed.

It's beside King's Cross station, a few metres away only. It's a pedestrian area. With lovely restaurants, chic stores, and a very nice atmosphere all a round. It's architecture is modern, shocking...but amazing!

The coal drops yard area has been transformed from industrial wasteland to the repurposing of the original industrial buildings and warehouses to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Glad to see the area has been put to good use, as there were some iconic (if not dive) clubs in the area which put London on the club scene during the rave years.

Good development, shame it killed off the night life that grew here. Gentrification only works when democrazy works.

Very imaginatively re-developed area which maintains some traditional buildings with a modern feel. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants set round the Regent's Canal. We actually went there to visit the Lightroom for the David Hockney exhibition. It was absolutely brilliant.

Nice place to hang out with benches, tables, chairs, plants, patch of greenery, fountains. You can play French boules. Nice restaurants on Stable Street. There are digital exhibitions at Lightroom.
