Worst place i've ever been to, staff a totally disrespectful and lazing around. All they do i have a chat in the staff room and only caring for themselves. You cam hear someone calling with their bell button from outside this place. That bell was going off the entire time i was their. Feel sorry for the person calling for help.

I have been closely monitoring my brother's care at Willowbeck, where he has resided for nearly two years. Our experience has been mixed, with some staff members falling short in professionalism and empathy, particularly crucial in mental health care. We acknowledge the complexities of such care but expect a certain standard of communication and safety.Recently, my brother was involved in an unfortunate incident where he was assaulted by another service user, resulting in a fractured finger. This was his third such experience at Willowbeck. Regrettably, the facility did not inform our family of the incident; we learned of it through my brother. I immediately contacted Willowbeck, and while they assured me of their commitment to investigate the matter and adhere to their safeguarding protocols, communication has been sparse. The lack of timely updates from Willowbeck and Social Services is concerning, especially when discussing alternative care solutions for my brother. We are committed to working with the relevant authorities to ensure he receives the appropriate support and care he deserves.I hope this feedback will be taken constructively, leading to improved communication and safety measures at Willowbeck for the well-being of all service users.

Been here nearly 15 months I could write a book about the place. Food wouldn’t feed it to my dog. ( the picture is fish n chips no vinegar on the chips)I get brought fo in 5/6 days a week from my sister and 70 year mother. You ring minibus driver to take you out for a hour he says he’s out busy. Then u look of window minibus is parked up outside reception, then a member a staff tells u don’t mention my name he’s in staff room on his phone. last week a unit manager missed one of my vital tablets, which left me shaking all day. Don’t even get me started about Imanagement they need there p45sWhen u call Amber she either comes after 3/4 days or sends a message with another member of staff. She has more meetings than the prime minister. Dropped a boiling cup of tea on me was screaming in agony in dinning room was on my own shouldn’t be on my left on my own.Nurse come running In said I’ll be back in 2 minutes with some paracetamols. He dispensed them and went on his break whilst I’m still sat in agony in my wheelchair on a boiling cup of tea.FINALLY got them from another nurse 55 minutes later which is isn’t allowed. Whoever dispenses your medication should give u that medication. Shock the nurse who said I’ll be back in 2 minutes with your paracetamol and dispensed the paracetamol has left. I’ve reported 4 serious incidents to CQC they are investigating. I could go on. Can’t wait to get out of this dump. It’s absolute torture to live in. In the last week had someone move out out who I thought was so happy here. Theres been a few who have left even staff. New staff you ask them for toilet roll they give u a toothbrush. It’s like management are asleep when taking staff interviews Few weeks ago I spent a few days in hospital Hallamshire Hospital i ward. The ward manager came round asked the patients if there alright and if she could do anything for them. I’ve been here nearly 15 months not once has manager done that. I said to hospital ward manager u need a job at willowbeck. Minus 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Update:I feel compelled to express my extreme disappointment with Willowbeck Care Home in Sheffield. Today is the 7th of June, and the mattresses were supposed to be turned on the 1st of every month, as clearly indicated in the picture. However, this simple task has still not been done. Considering that I have been in the hospital for over 15 months and at Willowbeck for just under 15 months, I can confidently say that these mattresses are far from comfortable. Most nights, I struggle to get more than a couple of hours of sleep. The lack of action in turning the mattresses for seven days is a clear reflection of the abysmal management at this facility. It is disheartening to witness staff members indulging in drinking and eating in their offices throughout the day, neglecting their responsibilities.Furthermore, the Prime Minister of Willowbeck, Amber Lea, has been informed by my unit manager for the past two weeks that I need to have a conversation with her. Yet, she continues to come up with various excuses. On the 2nd of June, I made another attempt to speak with her, as my solicitor was coming in for a serious matter. However, Amber claimed to have a meeting, as if she has been promoted to the United Nations from her position as Prime Minister. Despite my solicitor cancelling other meetings to accommodate this discussion, Amber redirected me to speak with the CNM, further evading her responsibility. The disregard for basic tasks, such as turning mattresses, and the lack of professionalism and accountability from the Prime Minister and management, highlight the severe flaws in Willowbeck Care Home. I am deeply dissatisfied with the overall quality of care and attention provided to the residents. Amber walked straight past the dinning room today she could of stopped for a minute and had word with me. Same thing happened two weeks ago when I asked unit manager to come speak to me and Amber walked past dinning room when unit manager told her i wanted a word
