Does what it says. It's a laundry opens early closes late! Has a machine that will take a 22kg load. Great for duvets. Good stuff!

As a launderette, it was ok. The machines were dirty and difficult to get to accept your money. Someone had vomited right in the doorway, had dried and was clearly at least a few days old! No cleaning facilities or hand sanitizer due to current covid situation! Very poor customer safety precautions!!

Having lived in Burnham 7 years and recently bought a mattress topper that I wanted washing, I foolishly went against my better judgement when choosing between this one or the cleaning centre on college st Burnham. Mistake number 1: I dropped my £5.60 into slot ( I know!! £5.60 for a standard washing machine size wash) which size drum is unknown at this point but maybe 9kg? Cpl of 20p pieces kept dropping through and I didn’t see the digital display asking me for another £1.60 until the 20s had gone back in. I’d paid £5.60 in. Mistake number2: trying the return button to get my £5.60 back out so that I could use another machine… that didn’t work and I even tried to tap it, push a slimline key in the slot to see if that drop the £5.60 through but no. Everything failed.. Mistake number3: ringing the number on the notice for assistance.. went to voicemail- left a voicemail.. waited.. Number rang me back, didn’t say who were there, didn’t use any Company name, customer service skills ( obviously don’t have any/ don’t care enough to use them) I explained the issue, she then proceeded to inform me it was my fault I’d jammed the slot by putting 10p piece in when they don’t take them and that there are ‘signs up’ to say they don’t take them.. I was further advised I could put a further £1.60 into the machine ??? Ermmm that would mean £5.60 + £1.60 to carry on or use another machine with another £5.60?! Or a refund. I requested a refund, asked if she’d come down as I’d paid for parking behind the place and would need the refund. After she’s laboured the 10p point a few times, I advised her we were getting nowhere, she was patronising me by reiterating what she’d already said twice, and blaming me and at that point. I guess she felt I was suitably chastised/ patronised and she hung up on me!? Really?! . I paid on my parking app to extend my parking whilst waiting. 45 mins from calling her, still no person on site to refund / address the issue and I left. 45 mins is more than enough time to even call back / advise of a time but nothing. They now have my hard earned £5.60 & I was ripped off by their blatant deliberate act if ignoring my refund. Absolutely appalling customer service/ dreadful experience and god help any little old Doris or anyone who can’t read braille, because when I was waiting, I took the time to look for these ‘signs up’ to say not to use 10ps and found a teeny tiny scrap piece of a label maybe 1cm x 1cm max on the machine (need magnifier to read) that said £1,50,20p But I’d already seen the big huge laminated sign on wall saying the machines take £1,50,20&10p pieces Attitude is disgusting blaming customers when they obviously can’t be bothered to change their A5 laminated sign saying otherwise. It was obvious after 45 mins, nobody had any a) moral compass b) shred of decency or intention of coming & all I see them for is ££££ grabbing greedy people. Not bothered about their customers yet with times so hard and money so tight with everything atm, a launderette is a luxury! £5.60 or £9.60 per wash. £1.50 ish a guy paid for a 10 min dryer! Do yourself a favour, save your hard earned ££ and take it to the launderette on College Street where they offer £4,£5,£6&£8 washes and cater for all sizes of washes/ quick wash- large wash and have an attendant on site to help you. Also offer a dry cleaning service & text you when your washing is ready! I’m a professional working person who made the mistake of using a money grabbing - cba couldn’t care less outfit for 1 item I wanted to wash. Never again. What an absolutely rubbish company and lease their machines from JLA so apart from rip me off today, which is exactly what they did, they’ve absolutely ensured I’ll never use them again nor will I recommend them to the thousands of holiday makers I see every season! How quickly folk forget they could’ve gone bust in the pandemic!! .

Unattended when I visited but everything works OK and it was very clean and tidy. The facility to pay by card would be very useful.

Edit - After 2 months of use machines are often out of order, particularly driers, and not promptly repaired or cleaned. The machines detergent trays haven't been touched in the 3 months I've used them. Driers have frequently thrown an 'out of order' error mid cycle and the money that was loaded into it is then gone.Pretty fit for purpose although some of the detergent trays need a scrub. £4.60 for smallest machine, £5.80 for middle, and £8.40 (I think) for the largest. Only accepts £1 and 20ps which is a pain to accumulate enough to get washing done regularly. Driers are good at 20p for 2 mins, a lint bin wouldn't go amiss though.Overall it does the job and I've had no trouble using machines as yet, but with a little more tlc it would be perfect.

Convenient to have the laundromat but owner or manager there really not very a pleasant person. She comes across as quite rude. Don't bother even saying hello cause u won't even get a grunt back.
