Carpetright

I attended today and wasn't too sure about what I wanted. I was met by Darren & Jennifer who were more than helpful. I came away knowing more about carpets, underlay and flooring than I did before going into the store. Definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for flooring! One thing to add is that even when I looked at more expensive flooring, if it wouldn't work for me, I'd be told to reconsider and even shown cheaper options. They aren't out to sell you the most expensive stuff, they're there to offer proper and fair advice.Edited review.Sadly, the experience having left the store wasn't as expected. The initial estimated quote provided in store was quite a few hundred pounds out (fair enough, as it required someone to actually measure the property). Later on in the process after I had accepted the final quote and sent payment, I was contacted weeks later to say I had been incorrectly quoted for the labour and that I was another few hundred pounds short. Therefore an additional unexpected payment was required, through no fault of my own.The store experience remains excellent. But a shame to have been quoted incorrectly.Now that the products I chose have been fitted, I am pleased with the overall items.But I can't help but change my initial 5 star review to 3 stars. The fact that I was quoted incorrectly for the labour fitting fee ruined my experience. Having already paid quite a few hundred over the estimated in store quote, the additional labour payment was unwelcomed.

Darren was extremely helpful with helping us arrange our carpet and nicely explained everything very clearly to us during the whole processWould definitely come again for our carpet needs.

Darren was really helpful, couldn't do more for us while looking for a new bedroom carpet.

Me and my partner visited a few carpet companies today and Darren at Carpetright was by far the most welcoming and helpful! Answered all of our questions, helped us find the perfect carpet and got the fitting all booked in at the same time. Looking forward to seeing how it looks at the house!

After a satisfactory measure, our details were passed over to the Braintree branch. Jennifer was an absolute star. Pencils and paper out for my little boy while we sorted out our order, she even switched off the automatic doors so he couldn’t run out of the store while we were considering our options, really helpful picking out the carpet and underlay, and was just a real ray of sunshine. She even managed to schedule in our fitting to our very tight deadline meaning we will have new carpets when we move into our new home. Unfortunately an exceptionally rude and aggressive man interrupted our check out process, Jennifer dealt with it with such grace. Thank you Jennifer.

Couldn’t have asked for better customer service, Gary was most helpful and knowledgable. Came out a better product than I went in for without costing the earth.

Garry was very helpful, and patient with us and our thousand and one questions. He know his stuff and was very attentive, even in a busy store.

Placed an order recently for kitchen, hallway and living room. This is being fitted on 14th august. We have now decided to add the stairs and landing to this order. Rosie came out to measure and was very helpful in arranging our fitting time to an earlier slot to what was originally booked. She was very polite and extremely helpful. Arranged the carpet with Darren and he was very polite and helpful. Look forward to my fitting of everything on the 14th august
