Glencorse Golf Club

A HIDDEN JEM OF A GOLF ⛳ COURSE NEAR EDINBURGH. Once played and your Hooked.Just outside Edinburgh ample parking and welcoming clubhouse.The course is in pristine condition the greens are excellent. The 1st and 18th are my favourite both going over the burn .The par 3 1st has to be treated with respect with water a third of way . The 18th looks over glencoarse from the Top of the corse looking at the green from Tee at the burn half way . Do you go for it with Driver or lay up . This course has many great holes and par 3s over water to challenge you .

Cliffe is amazing! We were absolute beginners when visited the golf club and he was extremely helpful and friendly. The course is very well kept, organised, and has awesome views!

Glencorse was the place I started to play golf back in 1996.Today I have returned for the first time in 27 years, and may I say what a beautifully stunning course.Well maintained and looked after, complements to the green staff.Big thank you to the Pro and the bar staff for a very warm welcome.Enjoyed it so much, planning my return and spreading the word.Thank you again and I will see you again soon. Great course, layout is superb and condition just now is very good.

I'm not a member here, but I am a semi regular visitor/player. Very reasonable playing fee. I always enjoy playing here. No par 5 holes. But some challenging par 4 holes. All round friendly staff with a nice club house. Well worth a wee round.

Great test of golf. Especially the par three's. Plus you can indulge yourself with a great bite to eat in a new club house bar. Enjoy.

Fantastic golf course with several challenging holes to not only test your golfing prowess but your sense of humour and patience.Cliffe Jones, Club pro, is a true gent and enthusiastically welcomed our party of eight (4 from Aberdeen and 4 from Yorkshire) to the course.We stayed for lunch after our round and the food was excellent, served with a cheery smile and a good does of banter by the barman (sorry, I didn't catch his name).Great morning of golf which ensures we'll be back.Thanks Glencorse for your hospitality.

We played as a four ball in the afternoon, there were a number of single players whom we allowed to play through, so it wasn't the fastest round ever! The layout is very interesting and it was a very enjoyable challenge. We had a very warm welcome from Clubhouse to Pro Shop to around the course. I would happily recommend the experience to golfers of any level.
