I am currently a social worker employed within a local authority. Emma S was instructed to undertake a parenting assessment for the purpose of court proceedings. Emma's timing, efficiency, communicative skills were over and above the expectation. She filed in the court timescales and the quality of the assessment really helped towards the writing of final evidence.Thank you so much Emma.

Emma has been a real support as my practise Educator throughout my last placement. She has remained impartial and allowed an open space to outlet when needed. She has kept my supervision time as a priority, and has encouraged me to reflect in both my practice and on practical things in social work such as the roles I enjoy and the styles I prefere when thinking about my next steps. She is easy to get on with, approachable and firm when needed to support you most appropriately. She is reliable and will always provide feedback and returns placement paper work in a timely manor. I have known Emma professionally for twelve years. I had been Emma’s Practice Teacher while she was on placement with a Local Authority team providing social work to children and young people with additional needs and their families.Since successfully graduating with her degree in social work, Emma has gained a broad range of social work experiences working primarily with children, young people, and their families. During this time, Emma has held several positions ranging from front line Social Work Practitioner, and Team Leader.Emma is a highly skilled and competent practitioner who works very much from a child centred and focused perspective.
